What a noisy hotel, can hear the m1 trundling past, horrible service station food, was tired so wanted somewhere ti rest and to be honest would have had better sleep if pulled of on a lay by off the motorway

Good budget hotel. Receptionist was helpful, but housekeeping had forgotten to put any towels in the room. Useful location for getting into Nottingham.

DO NOT FOLLOW NG9 3PL in your Sat Nav it will take you to the wrong side of the Motorway EVERY SINGLE TIME. Go NORTH M1 !!!! Despite the direction your Sat Nav takes you. I had a HORRIFIC experience, I live 4 hours away and don't know the area, the receptionist just kept saying to me "What is the name of the road you came off" "can you pull over so I can talk " NO I'M DRIVING DOWN THE M1 !!!! All she kept saying was "go down the little road, "go down the little road" when the entrance to the CORRECT side of the services was coned off. THERE WAS NO LITTLE ROAD !!! In the end she had to get a customer to give me directions as she "doesn't drive down the Motorway". Travelodge PLEASE give your staff training on directions etc. whether they drive or not. Room was basic and clean. I could open the windows a bit. Had a working clean fan in the room and was given an iron and ironing board on request. Honestly, how can your receptionist not know the MAIN ENTRANCE to the services was closed off for major road works today?

Could not open window during heatwave due to traffic noise and mosquitoes Bed comfortable but motel not as advertised- no where to eat a meal Will not return and think even though cost low, it was not value for money ………………………………………………………..

All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We chose this location as it was close to a wedding venue. Although adjacent to M1 and Services it was quiet a we were not disturbed. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and they recorded your car reg no so that no fee was required for the service area itself.

A nice reception area and clean, comfortable rooms. Extra pillows are in the wardrobe. Plenty of towels and coffee and tea. A quiet nights sleep as well!
