"What a great addition to Sauble Beach!! This hotel is lovely - from the outdoors areas to the ground floor to the various suites. We stayed overnight in a Deluxe King suite and we could have stayed for days. It was so well equipped - including a full kitchen and a washer dryer. There was fresh cream and cold water in the frig when we arrived. We were able to make coffee in our room before we went downstairs to the included breakfast which offered loads of choice. The evening before we sat on the rooftop terrace and watched the sunset - although you could do that from your own balcony since every room faces the water. We have made plans to return for 2 nights in the spring. The staff was excellent."

"When we arrived at the restaurant at 8 PM, there was no reception desk. Later, we saw the owner in the restaurant and asked him to come and check us in. He told us to wait and keep calling the front desk. The front desk still didn't come, and he reluctantly checked us in."

"Good environment. Basically all room types have lake views. Of course, the room type upstairs has a better view. The mattress is comfortable, that is, there is a squeak when turning over. No meals are provided. But there are a variety of food options in the town 5 minutes drive away. There is a Cantonese restaurant to try."

"The facilities were a bit old, and bloodstains were visible on the duvet cover when it was opened. It takes an hour to drive to Bruce National Park. The main problem is that there are no houses available near the park; prices are very high this time of year. A day trip from Toronto would be quite tiring."
