We stayed here in March 2025 having chosen it for it's location and parking as we wanted to explore the area. What a great place to stay. We had the Japanese room along with our own sitting room and bathroom. The rooms were great and the sitting room was great for after a long day of exploring the surrounding areas. Breakfast was amazing and that much it set us up for the day. Its a great base if you want to explore Bruge and the surrounding areas. Ideal if you are driving as there is secure parking. And if you love a quirky room the Japanese room will not disappoint. A great find

My wife and I stayed for four nights in the Japanese apartment. This consisted of three large, beautifully furnished rooms - with a fourth room, with bunk beds, for when families stay. B&B Lady Jane is in a lovely period building, which is situated in an attractive district, a few minutes walk from the centre of Bruges. There are restaurants a few yards away, but it’s also easy to walk to the many restaurants in the centre (Hugo provides a map with recommendations) - as well as to other attractions. Hugo is a friendly and generous host. He provides an excellent breakfast, with plentiful fresh bread, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit and jams. You can make coffee or tea at any time. Based on our experience, I find it difficult to believe that there is a better place to stay in Bruges. I strongly recommend contacting Hugo direct to book accommodation.

Lady Jane is an excellent base in Bruges, and Hugo is a great host - there when you need him and nowhere to be seen when you don’t. Breakfast is warm breads/croissants with fresh meat/cheese and jams/chocolate spreads. I’m vegetarian and felt equally catered for with my non-vegetarian partner. Fresh fruit every morning was delicious, alongside fruit juice, milk and chocolate milk. The coffee maker was ideal. The Japan Room was quirky, but having its own bathroom, livingroom (and library!) was amazing as we could put our feet up after a long day sightseeing and drink a lovely bottle of red (€10) whilst watching Belgian TV. Honestly, a home away from home. Book direct and get bikes for a day too - we pedalled to Damme for lunch and it was perfect. Super clean, very professional, warm, welcoming and safe - Hugo and Lady Jane are a superb choice. Thank you very much for a perfect stay.

Un hôte aux petits soins, comme je n'en ai jamais vu. Une place de stationnement en parking souterrain à 10€ la journée, en supplément mais le prix est tout à fait correct pour BRUGGES. Chambre très confortables, petit déjeuner dans la chambre et frigo, bouilloire, thé et café, merci à notre hôte

Verbleven in kamer "Africa" in dit monumentale pand, dichtbij het centrum van Brugge. Hele ruime kamer, geheel in stijl ingericht met een huiselijke sfeer. 's-morgens goed verzorgd ontbijt wat op de kamer gegeten werd. Eigenaar Hugo is heel gastvrij en vriendelijk. Liet ons ook nog zijn prachtige wijnkelder zien, die hij zelf heeft verbouwd en ingericht
