Dukes' Palace Residence - by Dukes' Hotel Collection

The hotel is in a great location, 20 mins from the train station and less than 5 mins walk to the Market Place. The hotel is run by the Duke’s Palace Hotel and it is where we had breakfast. Rooms are a bit small but it’s got all the amenities we need. Overall a great hotel at affordable prices.

We had a room in the courtyard. Room was lovely, separate toilet from the bathroom which was great. The only down side was the depth of the bath very uneasy to get into for a shower. Also the shower screen didn't come completely down to the bath so water was going everywhere. We had breakfast in the main hotel, which was great. Had great selection, from eggs, bacon etc. Cheeses, meats, an array of different breads and selection of little cakes etc. Even had Belgium chocolate 🍫 😋 all the staff were extremely nice and helpful. 1st class hotel, would definitely recommend it

The Hotel was lovely so were the staff however I booked and paid for an Executive Room however our room certainly didn’t look like the Hotel’s website photos or spec. I questioned the room quality with the Reception staff who confirmed it was an Executive Room and did offer to move us to another room which we appreciated but declined due to the hassle of repacking for 2 nights if it had been any longer we would have taken up their offer. Fair play to the Hotel for their response👏

Great place , the service was awesome. Good breakfast. Just 2 streets from the center . I really enjoy the time there. Beautiful hotel .

They didn't allow us to upgrade the room or provide an extra bed for our kids who co-sleep with us. Instead, they forced us to booked another room which was really expensive that time. It was a waste because no one slept in that room. Carpet was smelly and towels are too thin.
