The hotel is located quite far from town the distance isnt great but the waybup is difficult. The staff service is excellent. The hotel is quite old but fairly clean. If hotel can be renovated would been better. There are parking but limited

Enjoyed a great family lunch in the restaurant. The staff was really nice and the food was great. I recommend trying the local polenta meals! Also tried some risotto which was very well cooked. Overall a great experience which I recommend to anyone visiting Brunate!

Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. I was so glad we switched as the owner and his staff could not have been warmer and more accommodating. The hotel is not five star but is clean and homely and the food was wholesome and delicious. Brunate is also a quiet gem high above Como and accessible by the funicular. If you want to pop into the busy cosmopolitan Como it’s easy but we preferred the charm of Brunate with its walks and views.

Lovely place on top of the mountain overlooking Como Lake. Owner operated & it shows …. Staff terrific & super helpful. Close to the Funicular Train straight to Como waterfront. Super clean with comfortable beds & pillows. Definitely would stay again. Restaurant food was delicious & a good variety of choices

Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

we have an amazing service from a very kind & caring staff i started with a a lasagna with pesto wich was insanely sweet even my buddy stole some, then i followed with a tagliatelle with mashrooms mmm! (you must taste to understand😋). my buddy took e sliced beef & mashroom of course i thief some taste was so goo we spent less than many other restaurants, we thanks for everything will be back soon!
