Hotel Lido by Phoenicia

The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to visit nearby attractions. The breakfast spread is quite generous. Its prime location makes getting around by taxi or on foot very convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, service is prompt, and facilities are well-maintained. It's a great experience for business travelers and definitely worth recommending.

To put it nicely, the environment is rustic; to be blunt, it's old and rundown. The lighting was poor, and the sink drainage had issues. But what angered me most was the staff's attitude. When ordering food at the restaurant, they had a scowl on their faces the entire time, looking impatient and condescending. And when it came to payment, they added a 15% service charge for themselves without even asking.

This hotel has a unique local charm, though it's a bit older. The elevator is one of those semi-automatic types installed behind the stairwell, so you have to close the door yourself. Directly across from the hotel is an old, abandoned building, which makes the area feel a bit run-down. The room itself was quite clean, but the bathroom did have a slightly dated feel. On the bright side, there are attractions nearby and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Whenever I'm in Bucharest, I stay here. It's the best choice for business trips.
