OPERA16 Guestrooms

It was alright. They replied to emails quickly, but the location was a bit hard to find. Overall, it was decent, and not far from anywhere, which was a plus!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, less than a 5-minute walk from the Opera House. What I particularly appreciated were the two complimentary bottles of water, one still and one sparkling. After passing through a retro-styled interior, you suddenly arrive in a very clean area where the rooms are located. The room itself wasn't outdated at all and was neatly organized. Although I was told there were stairs, it was only about 20 steps, so not too many. The shower was also perfectly fine. The only issue I encountered was the inconvenient check-in and check-out times. Since staff are only available between roughly 9 AM and 5 PM, it was a bit inconvenient for luggage storage and check-in.

The staff were friendly. The room was small but clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was soap and shampoo in the shower. The room also had two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Tea and coffee were available on the floor. The room was equipped with a kettle, hairdryer, and clothes dryer. There's also a mini-kitchen in the hallway where you can even cook. When I stayed at this hotel, it was extremely hot, nearly 40 degrees Celsius, and I was on the top floor. However, the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, making it very comfortable. The location is excellent; it's about a 20-minute walk to the Parliament. The Opera metro station is just a stone's throw away, providing direct access to the Szechenyi Baths. The 100E bus stop is also only an 8-minute walk from the hotel, which is super convenient. The location is truly great.

I stayed alone. The location is excellent, on a very decent and stylish street. I didn't hear any noise at night in my room. There's no view, but you're only really in and out to sleep anyway. Questions were answered very quickly via Trip. I had no problems at all. Everything was very clean. They even set up a lovely little tea stand, especially sweet for a tea addict from Turkey. There's a variety of teas available whenever you want. There's an elevator, so you only have to walk up one floor. The air conditioning worked perfectly. I was very happy, thank you.

The room was clean and adequately sized. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The bed was comfortable. Its central location, right next to the metro, was a significant plus. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The only minor issue was that the elevator only went one floor below our room, so we had to take the stairs for the last floor. Other than that, we were generally satisfied.
