The location is different from what is written online. There is a jacuzzi but it cannot be used 😅

First of all, the accommodation was very pretty and the room was subtly pretty. The staff was friendly, and it was nice that they answered every question I had. The location of the accommodation was not bad for sightseeing. At first, I was a little confused when looking for the location of the accommodation, but if you look closely at the wall on the map, you can quickly find the name of the accommodation.

The Central Museum Hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the Danube cruises, public transport, and shops and markets. While the entrance was a little challenging to find, we loved the rustic old building with it’s gates and rickety lift. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a view across to the museum and gardens. Vanessa was the supreme hostess, for whom nothing was too much trouble, and her local suggestions and tips were spot on. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

The good bits, the staff are lovely and very kind. The room is nice and large with a stunning view across to the museum. Very good value for the money. The location is great.Once you have found it,I can only speak personally, but I found all the codes and locks to be quite scary, it felt like I was visiting a high security unit. But that's just me and my claustrophobia.

We visited family and friends in Hungary, planned and booked every accommodation almost a year in advance. I had booked 4 nights accommodation st the hotel and prior to our arrival i emailed them to see whether there is anything we need to know before we get there. We found out that the hotel did not have our reservation and because they were fully booked we had nowhere to stay . The hotel wrote that they have problems with their booking site from time to time and that is what happened in our case. No help was offered and no response to any of my emails and could not reach them by phone neither. I believe it is very poor service, especially that they know there is a problem with their booking system. I would not recommend this hotel, they are unreliable.

Excellent hotel! Fun experience in Budapest with recommendations from the hotel crew. Great breakfast and a very nice room. The room include a huge bed a table and a nice sofa. There is a nice spa in the hotel and you get fluffy robes that make the experience even better!

If the taxi driver hadn’t known where we were staying we would never have found it! Firstly we couldn’t get through the large door as they were operated by the reception! Upon entering we realised this was not so much a hotel as a 2nd floor set of apartments! As the other floors appeared to be private homes! The lift …….. was old and decrepit! The rooms appeared to be clean although I think more effort could be made! If you left the note for the cleaners to come in, that is literally all they did… come in, they folded the duvet on the bed. The coffee and tea making facilities were fine although you had to ask on a daily basis for more as we were only given 2 pods at a time! Upon checking out, well there was no one on reception to check out with, and this was 6 in the evening! Overall a disappointing experience

We stayed 2 days in this hotel. As soon as we arrived they told us that the room was ready at 3pm. We arrived on time, we waited another 15 minutes, and that's fine... it's nothing. We got to the bed and it was full of hair, the bathroom floor wasn't washed very well, even on the toilet there were some hairs. We didn't say anything because after 4 hours of traveling we were tired. So we cleaned the sheets by shaking them a bit to make the hairs fall to the floor. See photos. Then in Budapest it's cold at this time of year, it was 10 degrees and a little air was also coming through the window of the room, so we asked if it was possible (since there was) to turn on the heating (hot air conditioning). I was told: I have to ask, I don't know, I'll ask and obviously they didn't let us know anything else. So back at the hotel I asked again if it was possible, but the answer was no. In the end I asked for blankets, which arrived even if I don't know, it seems like I asked for the moon. Finally, one receptionist in particular was not very friendly and welcoming. I give two stars ONLY for the location, very central, very well connected.

It is an excellent choice if you want to be well located, with clean and good rooms, and with a basic service. That is, without breakfast or permanent service of attention. Don't be afraid with the image of the entrance. The access is safe and the internal courtyard, which draws attention, is typical of many historical buildings in Budapest. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and spacious room. Bathroom too!

It is in a very central location, I can say that it is within walking distance to almost every place to see on the Buda side. After entering, you can easily enter by scanning your key contactlessly to the doorbell buttons on the left middle of the three doors, namely the building entrance, the building interior and the hotel exterior. Finally, you open the door of your room with the same key fob. The ceilings are quite high and the rooms are spacious. The windows are long and have iron bars and are quite secure. Clean, hygienic sheets and pillows. There is an LCD TV, mini fridge, air conditioner, water heater and hair dryer in the room. The shower and sinks are clean. Shampoo, soap and glasses are sufficient in size and number. Wardrobes and hangers are sufficient. We did not buy breakfast. They have left a list of the locations, addresses and prices of the restaurants and cafes they recommend for both dinner and breakfast on the table in the rooms, you can easily review and go. We went to the places they recommended for dinner and breakfast and were very pleased. If you want to leave your belongings for a while after leaving the hotel, there is a fee of around 5 euros. Water, fruit juice, croissants, herbal tea and Nescafe left in the rooms are free. The staff at the reception is very kind, respectful and helpful. We made a reservation 1-2 months in advance and the price is quite affordable for this location. I recommend this hotel to those who are going to Budapest.

It was not what we expected. I will talk about the negative aspects first. First of all, it is classified as a three-star hotel and, at least in Spain, it would not be more than a two-star hostel. Our studio was not in the reception area and we were sent to a nearby dark street parallel to the main avenue. You enter an old doorway of a very old building and you are placed in the aforementioned studio. If the neighbour next door takes a shower at such an early hour, you hear him more than if you were next to him. It is impossible to sleep before he finishes and if he turns on the hydro-massage bath it seems like you have boarded a freight train. In other words, the soundproofing that is advertised is not true, at least in our studio. In the morning, at the first ray of light you wake up because the curtains are short and light comes in from everywhere. During the four days of our stay, no one came in to clean the room. If you are the one who takes a shower, as there is no screen or curtain, even if you are careful you flood the bathroom. The television did not work. We're not going to go there. The photos on the platforms where the hotel is advertised contain errors such as a huge swimming pool that obviously doesn't exist. There isn't one outside the hotel because if you saw one you wouldn't go. Contrary to other recent comments I've read, only Hungarian and English are spoken there, not a word of Spanish. And now the positive: It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the city centre. On the main avenue, 300 metres away, there is a metro stop and two tram lines that pass in front of the establishment. The "hotel" is not expensive (67 euros per night). The studio has elements to be able to have breakfast and even dinner there. They had the detail of offering us some coffee and milk capsules along with two croissants at the entrance. They kept our suitcases for us at the exit for two hours free of charge. And finally, I would like to highlight (and this is what somewhat saved our stay) the receptionist Alain, super friendly and helpful with us in every way he could. I would like to thank him from here.

The location of the hotel is excellent since it is two tram stops from the center of Buda, which can also be reached with a half-hour walk. There is also a convenient subway nearby for moving from one part of the city to another. Breakfast is not included but they provide you with everything you need to make yourself a tea or coffee and they also give you free bottles of water in the minibar. In the area, however, there are many cafes and pastry shops where you can have breakfast. I also really appreciated the link they sent me to easily find the hotel, since it is located on the second floor of a building. The staff is young and very kind and everyone speaks excellent English. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The only negative note was that they did not take credit cards, but they had warned us that they also accepted cash payment in euros. I admit that this aspect made me a little worried about the structure, thinking that it was below the expectations I had made and instead in the end we were fine.
