Budapest Hotels with Wi-Fi

The location of this hotel was perfect for us, slightly removed from the rest of the big hotels but a very short walk to the river. The front desk staff was first rate service, dealt with a late checkin very well and were very helpful on checkout. The breakfast was generally very good, staff could get a bit flustered during busy times but there is a guide to busy and quiet times in the room so a good idea to keep that in mind. The bar staff could be a little frosty but service became much better when they realised (when we asked to pay) that we were staying ay the hotel. The room was very nice, a good size all the usual little things, plus chocolate! The robes provided were a bit tatty, but still functional. Certainly somewhere I would stay again.

Hospitality at this hotel is pretty much non-existent, especially for what I'd expect of a Novotel. It starts with having no doorman. You'll see this a few times in others comments. They give you one water bottle in your room. Don't expect them to replace it throughout your stay though. That'd be a lot to ask. Room service? I'm not sure if they cleaned the rooms during our stay. They did make the beds. That's about all. When I asked where I might find water, I was rudely directed to purchase a bottle from the restaurant. This is unheard of to me. Filtered water should always be freely provided. The breakfast was also quite mediocre. Huge lineup for coffee, no brewed coffee, which would be quicker to serve. Staff not around. For the price, the breakfast is certainly not worth it. Not a great experience. I won't be returning.

WE had a great stay AT this hotel. . The staff was very kind and attentive especially AT the front desk (helpful and polite, handled all our requests ). To be honest the room was correct not spacious but Location was perfect👍👌 WE will be back for sure

The hotel is on the Buda side, next to the Chain Bridge, and has a good location. The room with a bridge view was on the second floor, which is a bit low. You can walk across the bridge, and the attractions on the Pest side can be reached on foot. (But if you just want to choose a hotel with a view, this location is a bit tasteless. If you want to see the Buda Castle and the Fisherman's Bastion, you can choose the Intercontinental and Marriott on the Pest side for hotels of the same level. If you want to see the beautiful scenery of the Fisherman's Bastion, you can choose the Hilton next to the Fisherman's Bastion. There are many related recommendations.) The hotel service is very good. There is a welcome wine when checking in. The room is very clean, with complete toiletries, slippers, free coffee, and a bottle of local Hungarian wine. In addition to some simple buffets, breakfast can be ordered according to the menu. It is very delicate and the taste is average. There is a very famous local restaurant on the top floor, but I didn't eat there due to time. Overall, it is a good hotel.

This hotel ticks all the boxes , location is brilliant bars and restaurants all around you’ll not struggle finding a drink or a place to eat , from burger joints to Michelin restaurants. Very close ruin bars and cafe New York , also the bus stop for the tour bus is within a 5 min walk , we got our bus tickets from the hotel and the women at the desk couldn’t be more helpful. The room we had was executive double it was huge had a lounge area with tea n coffee making facilities, separate shower n bath in the bathroom , mini bar offering everything you need to make your stay comfortable, the maids came every day cleaned our room and brought fresh towels, bedding and replenished our tea n coffee facilities. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely it had a huge offering there was something for everyone from fresh fruits ,pastries and juices to the hot selection bacon eggs etc , the hotel pool and sauna is brilliant and we used this every morning before breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest , we really couldn’t fault it on our visit here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful hotel downstairs, but rooms are very tired, they are not as bright and vibrant as on the website. Our room on the 4th floor had no pictures on the walls and lacked the basic items. You could also hear the upstairs guests which was very annoying at 4am! The bathroom was also very dated. The Balcony was a lovely feature in the room. We asked for an iron only to be told there was an ironing room on the ground floor, this was really inconvenient. We went for lunch at the bar which was awful, my burger was rock hard and took ages to come and they only replaced it with the same thing. The location is great if you are heading out into the city. It does the job for a city break hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The trams outside are non stop and even with ear plugs you can still hear them rattling along. The lobby area of each floor is set out in a big circle with the rooms round the outside and a hole in each floor all the way to the top so the noise of guests even from different floors carries like mad. On our final night a party came in late and were making so much noise running around and slamming doors that we couldn’t sleep and had to phone down to reception to ask them to send someone to shut them up. (Please don’t think I’m usually ‘that person’ as I’m really not!) The maids also started very early and are not in the least bit quiet….at times it felt like they were in the room with us. It’s a shame as the hotel is clean and the rooms are really nice and big. Powerful shower and comfy bed (tho lack of pillows meant we had to use the sofa cushions!) About a 20 minute walk from the ‘centre’ area - the area the hotel is in is pretty grubby but there’s a Tesco across the road for snacks and a metro station also very close. About a 20 minute walk from Astoria stop if you’re getting a bus from the airport. Very limited bar, no restaurant for anything other than breakfast, and no drinks making facilities in the room. I wouldn’t give the hotel 4 stars to be honest. The reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them at all. Just a shame about the racket, by the end of the weekend we were dead on our feet, partly due to all the walking you usually do on a city break but mainly due to the lack of sleep! Because of this, I 100% would not stay here again and couldn’t recommend it to anyone who values a decent nights sleep.

Well, the picture that I uploaded will explain you everything. If you are thirsty for a beautiful night view, this boat hotel will make you moistened. Location was good and staffs were so kind but my room was a bit small and there’s slight noise due to windy but it was not a big issue for me. Try to stay on the boat in Budapest, I really enjoyed the night view. So good, i mean so so good. You’ve been sleeping in the buildings so far go and sleep in this boat hotel and have fun!

Great ibis hotel. Maybe the best ibis I have been to. Clean rooms with nice view of the River. Good choices for breakfast including me (vegetarian). Location is close to touristic attractions (maybe 20 minutes walk). Good price too. Staff are nice and helpful. No complaints

The airport shuttle bus 100E drops only a few minutes walk away from the hostel. (30mins travel) Very useful. There is a socket and reading light next to each bed and I had a change of bedding on my second day. I feel that this is due to there being no bed bookings and you choose your own, so they don't know which bed is still in use. There's a danger you may lose your bed if you don't leave things on it. There was a shared bathroom with a toilet in it and a locker provided in the room too. I brought my own towel as this was not provided. There is shower gel provided in the shower. A really central hostel, though they're is a hub of bars directly opposite, so they're is a lot of noise until very late which means I had disrupted sleep both nights. Plenty of takeaway places close for quick bites to eat and lots of café spots close too. This hostel is also very close to get to the main sights and starts of walking tours also if you'd be doing this too.
