It’ll do for one night! In the room I got, I wouldn’t stay any longer. Looking at all the other room doors, mine was the only one the used a good ole fashion key to open door. So at some point the door must have been kicked in as on the inside there was a gapping wedge in the door frame where once upon a time, there was an inside latch to lock the door. Also a hole above the door handle that has been filled with a clear gel substance so peering eyes can’t look in! Other than outdated furnishings , it was the security of not being able to lock our room with an extra latch from the inside that bothered me. Such a beautiful location though!

The room was very good, good size and great location right on the lake. The rooms are spotless and well equipped. We could hear the tv from the next room up till 1.00 am but not the owners fault. Shower was leaking. My biggest complaint is the wi fi if ,is atrocious, kept dropping out, very poor reception and we could not make calls on our mobiles despite them being 5g I would recommend taking a Wi-Fi extender with you Hubby had to go and stand near the corner to send a message

Hibiscus Lakeside proved to be an excellent choice of accommodation for our recent short stay. The room was immaculate, an added welcome surprise was fresh towels daily, the king bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. The motel is close to restaurants and beaches with the lake at your back door. Would highly recommend and are looking forward to a return trip.

Just an overnight stopover. The location is nice, beside the lake but I just missed the last water view room. It’s old but clean although things are starting to get a bit rough around the edges ( stains on the chairs, shower door leaking, pedal on rubbish bin broken). Wifi was very dodgy and poor Optus signal reception in my room. Good value though.
