I've stayed here many times, but this was really sad. The restaurant is gone after being there 100 yrs. Should have been given historic status. Asked for 1st floor (recent knee surgery), extra pillows to elevate the knee and xtra towels - none of which were provided. There was no bath mat for the shower. There was only one ice machine (on the 1st floor) on the other side of the property and it was broken. I tried calling the front desk to see if there was another working ice machine but no answer at 10:15 pm and it went to voicemail (tried calling twice more) and 3 of the 4 plastic cups were cracked and liquid went all over me and the floor. Sorry but we won't be staying there again. Perhaps there was pride in the property when the famous restaurant was still in business.
