Eden's Rest

Cannot recommend this place too highly. Great food, great value and a very kind and helpful host in Ian. Ideal location for Heligan, Eden and Charlestown.

A very friendly and helpful host, a very clean room and very good breakfast (with a great garden view). We've been here for 2 nights and had a great experience. Absolutely recommended!

The welcome we received at Eden's Rest was second to none, absolutely home from home without having to lift a finger. Our room was immaculate, beautifully clean and it had everything we could possibly have needed. Ian had told us merely to ask if there was anything else we needed, but there was everything we wanted without having to ask for more. Breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented and kept us going throughout the day. Car parking was also not issue. Ian was very helpful as regards information about the area, and combined with the very useful information pack provided, we had no problem finding our way around. We would have no reservations as regards recommending Eden's Rest (and, of coursde, Ian and Wayne) to any future guests. Keith & Merle

Our third time here as cannot fault the accommodation or the hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. It's a great location for The Eden Project, Charlestown and an hours drive to St Ives or Trebah & Glendurgan which was perfect for us. Also a good location for several pubs for food including the King's Arms at Luxulyan. As always Ian catered to my diet, even remembering the kind of milk and yoghurt I liked. We had a cuppa and biscuits on arrival in the lounge reserved for guests. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. We stayed in the Rose room which had a large separate bathroom just down the hall. The breakfast is plentiful, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and a cooked breakfast if required. We are looking forward to our next stay in the future. Another plus is the rooms are on one level making it perfect for carrying our small suitcases and many bags of creature comforts.

I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed here over the past 7 years, and I love it so much that I don't consider staying anywhere else. It is not too far from anywhere in Cornwall, it is very comfortable, and most importantly, the hosts are worth their weight in gold. I left feeling very refreshed.

Lovely host, Ian was very accommodating and helpful. Ideal place together to some great beaches like The Rock. Eden project up the road, pencarron house and the lost gardens of Haligan. Very comfortable accommodation and a beautiful garden. Nice breakfast selection. Thanks Ian.
