Avatel Hotel not far to Bukit Mertajam town area.Around 2km from train station. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning,work desk,wardrobe,flat-screen TV,mini fridge,toiletries,towels,instant coffee.Wifi in rooms,parking on site.Nearby got 7-11, grocer mart,Thai foods mini mart.

Overall good. However: 1. Only one hanger in the closet. 2. Dispenser holder broken. Only soap container placed on top of tissue roller and without shampoo container.

The bathroom water flow is slow. Overall is clean.

Have to pay RM50 deposit. Basic hotel with air conditioning. Kindly Note that different name published outside the hotel.

Nice location, quiet and calm stay, nearer to convenient shops, sadly no water bottles provided

Terrible hotel. I arrived 12.30pm.Nobody at reception. I called they asked me to wait. Upon receptionist arrived, she said check in early need to pay extra RM50(even though hotel is not fully booked). Shower room no hot water. Chair broken and aircond not cold. Never ever stay this hotel anymore

First time lodged in the hotel. Surprised that the room is not small compared to other budget hotel at the similar price. Room was big, clean and staff was friendly. Aircond is of bigger size and works perfectly for me. Excellence budget hotel for business travellers that aim for clean, cheap, friendly and nice location!

Ok hotel for work in Kulim or bm area Water pressure low so irritating when showering TV not available Room huge but not much of a use

2 time stay, but no more 3rd time
