Good hotel in centre of town but has small room. Everything is good in term of clean and service. Breakfast just a normal.

It is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.

The service is satisfying, highly recommended in Bukittinggi.

Superior twin bed rooms are really small..... as it is difficult to the bed

Very strategic place as it is super near to Jam Gadang, only couple of minutes walking distance. The staffs are nice and friendly and super helpful. Theres only 1 small lift, and it is taking forever on the lift waiting as the limit is only 5 person to be in the lift. May need to improve on the pest control as theres an incident when my nephew had a cockroach resting on his shirt (out of nowhere) while he was walking. May also need to consider the room’s air freshener (they are using coffee smell type?)

i was given the last available deluxe room. the moment i stepped in, woah... the smell that came from the toilet was unbearable. i informed the hotel management about this predicament. hopefully they may take prompt action to address this issue.

Google says it's a 4-star hotel, but it's more like a 3-star hotel. As a non-smoker, you'll be incredibly bothered by the smoking in the lobby and elevator. Furthermore, the hotel is outdated, and with only one working elevator, it's a long walk to your room. You also have to call reception several times for requests. And you have to wait a long time for change if you order something in the lounge. The hotel has a good location, but I wouldn't book here again.
