This lodge was a great treat during our visit to Queen Elizabeth national park. The staff were very friendly, the food was fantastic, and the view of the savanah was beyond impressive. The drive to Queen Elizabeth is around 20-30 minutes, the lodge sits on a hill to the south with a great view of the park. We spent two days here enjoying game drives, fantastic views, and some relaxing time by the pool. The accommodations were spacious and well equipped with a hot water heater for warm showers and plenty of space. Would absolutely recommend this lodge to anyone visiting the area. Wonderful stay, beautiful views, and very helpful and attentive staff.

Ensure that meals are standard and not only when the lodge has large groups. We paid just as the large group so we expected the same service. When a large group checks in, the meals are great with lots of desserts and options. However, when the group left and we were still there, our meal was poor. Basic meal with only a banana or small fruit as dessert. There is no wifi connection in the lodge, not even the main building for the entire 4 nights and 5 days we were there. The lodge should let customers know in the marketing that there is internet but the connection is non-existent. Customers can prepare accordingly instead of marketing wifi that is never available. The lodge also understates how steep the hill/steps to the rooms are. Rooms are also a bit dusty

Pretty good. The huts are a long walk from the main lodge area, and it's up many flights of stairs so I wouldn't recommend for people who have trouble walking. Food was ok. It has nice views over QE National Park.

We had simply the best stay here while in Uganda! Amazing view, reception, swimming pool and room! Upon arrival they offer you the usual welcome juice and there you can have the first breathtaking view of the savanna underneath the valley. The room was really big and clean, of course there might be some insects since you are close to the forest but they provide you with the spray. The only thing: you must have confidence with who you are sleeping with since the bathroom doesn’t have a door. This was the only lodge that provided bath towels with embroidery on it, I appreciate the details! We were told that these towels were the once to be used also in the swimming pool, but I’m sure if you ask they give you more. The food was good and they have also a selection of beverages between beer and wine. We also used the laundry service while there, useful!

Our time at Enganzi Game Lodge was nothing short of incredible! Nestled on a hillside overlooking Queen Elizabeth National Park, the views were absolutely breathtaking! The rooms were so unique and beautifully designed, blending natural materials with comfort. Each one felt private and peaceful, with stunning views right from the porch. The staff were kind and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing after a day of exploring the park. This lodge offers a perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and adventure. Highly recommend Enganzi Game Lodge for anyone visiting Queen Elizabeth, it’s an experience you won’t forget!

Wonderful location overlooking yet outside the park where you can watch elephants from the poolside. Friendly youthful staff and interesting village land all around the back. Good for birds and birders. Don’t let the steep steps up and down to the lovely rooms from the Main Building put you off!

From start to finish, our stay here was unforgettable. The journey down the muddy, bumpy road to the hotel added an exciting and adventurous touch, making our arrival all the more intriguing. Also, loved all the children yelling hello as we arrived down the road. Please do not give children money or candy - it is not helpful for sustainability. The rooms truly capture the essence of a Uganda safari experience. They are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with separate bathtubs that are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The super hot water was a welcome comfort, and I was impressed by the eco-friendly practices incorporated into the property—it's great to see sustainability prioritized without compromising on comfort. The WIFI was good too at the common area. The views were breathtaking. From the balcony, you can look out over the expansive savannah, and we were lucky enough to spot elephants roaming below. It was a surreal experience to wake up to such incredible scenery each morning. The rooms were spotless, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. All this, combined with the great price-to-value ratio, makes this accommodation an outstanding choice. The lodge really was the perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and safari excitement. We are fit, so did not mind the walk down some stairs to the bungalows. However, the stones can become slippery.

Very nice resort with a fantastic view! But…. If you are not mobile, this place may not be for you. To get to your room, you need to go down about at least 50 stairs, and come back up those stairs. If you are reasonably mobile, no problem. Open air restaurant longe, food is good. The rooms are clean. I would stay here again
