Ecellent food and good value. Dined yesterday with a friend. The bar area was all set out for dining and was very inviting. The menu offers a great choice. We both had steak and ale pie with chips, broccoli and carrots. The pie was from the local butcher and was top notch. The portion size was just right. Service was also prompt and friendly. A super choice of venue

What a great wee hotel. The staff can't do enough to help. The food is home cooked and delicious, the rooms clean and comfy. I and my friend had sea views. There's plenty of parking and the sandy beach is 50m away. What a treat to be able to enjoy old fashioned human values with modern facilities, especially in this era of the remote and the DIY economy. I stayed there last year and will do so again every single time I am in the area. Next time, I will ask for extra whisky sauce with my haggis, neeps and tatties! 10/10 & a gold star you guys!

An excellent boutique hotel to stay at. Stafff were very friendly. the price was competetive. Lovely breakfast included in the price. Right next to the beach. Close to the centre of Burntisland. Definitely plan to stay again next year (if there is room).

The Burntisland Sands Hotel is a little gem ,have stayed many times in the past for a long weekend with family. Stopped there recently after a visit to St Andrews and as usual the staff were so friendly and accommodating as we were a bit late for lunch but the chef went out of his way to do food for us . The young girl serving us was amazing as were the bar staff , lovely clean restaurant/ bistro and bar Parking at the back car park with both front and back access to hotel . Thank you to all .

This hotel was a gem, not fancy but the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the coastal trail was a few metres away. I had some lovely walks - the locals are friendly. We ate in the pub restaurant - best chili beef jacket potato I’ve had - again the staff were welcoming. Good to see support of the townspeople but not too rowdy.

If you are ordering food, be prepared to wait at least 1 hour for it to arrive at your table. We booked a table at the weekend for 6.30pm. The staff were very prompt in taking both our food and drinks order. The drinks arrived but we waited over an hour for the food. One couple had finished a bottle of wine and were still waiting on their food. They walked out. We would have done the same if it wasn't so late and my little girl wasn't starving. One table arrived after us, yet were served their food before us! Can't fault the staff. They all looked run off their feet. Perhaps an additional chef is required? Something is clearly very wrong in the kitchen. After mentioning this to our friends and family, it certainly appears that this was not a one off issue and it happens frequently so be prepared to wait.

Sometimes we all just need a wee break to recharge and this was ideal . Had a lovely evening with excellent food and service from friendly helpful attentive staff , didn’t catch their names but thank you ! . Have often driven past but never stayed before and wasn’t disappointed . Only issue was although the en-suite was lovely and warm the room was a little cold at times . Didn’t have time to mention it but Im sure if I did it would have been sorted . Looking forward to going back again very soon !

Usually nice but the chef should lesrn how to make a proper club sandwich. Not good but i have had meals here before and enjoyed them. I did complain as i couldn't eat it as it was so dry. So i wasnt charged for my drink!! Very strange. I will return but have something else.
