This is an amazing place, right in the middle of nowhere, just did not think we would find such a delightful pub with excellent room, food and service We booked just for one night as a stopover between the Norfolk coast and our home. From the start the staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was large with very comfortable very large bed, plenty of room for clothes, bath with rainfall shower, had a really good night sleep Excellent food at dinner and breakfast, I had shoulder of lamb for dinner, massive piece of lamb, I thought dinner was big but the breakfast was the largest I have been served in the UK (apart for self service ) the food was very tasty and I now understand why the place was crowded with diners Special thanks to the manager who made our stay so enjoyable Would certainly recommend and would certainly stay again

I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Chomoley Arms! The roast was cooked to perfection, with tender meat and crispy, golden roast potatoes. The rich gravy and fresh seasonal vegetables tied everything together beautifully. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal. If you’re looking for a traditional Sunday roast done right, I highly recommend giving the Chomoley Arms a visit. I’ll definitely be back soon!

A very quaint pub with modern barn conversion accommodation. We had an overnight stay, the room was very spacious with everything in it you might need. The beds were comfortable with lovely soft pillows, crisp cotton sheets and duvet covers. The bathroom was well equipped with lots of towels and toiletries. There were tea and coffee making equipment and a fridge with fresh milk in it. Dinner was excellent, a good menu to choose from and beautifully cooked and presented, breakfast had a good selection of fruit and cereal and the cooked menu was very impressive and ample. All served with copious coffee, tea and lovely fresh baked bread. I cannot praise this place enough, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year. The staff were very welcoming and Gayle made us feel at home, thank you very much

Excellent rooms, very comfortable beds with quality linen, and well-equipped with generous supply of refreshments. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and on top of that the restaurant offers excellent value for money with very good food, especially the wonderful breakfast. Speciality nights too! It's a little way out of Grantham, but our party who hired all 4 rooms felt that it was a brilliant choice.

Lovely family business. Beautiful bread made on the premises. Great breakfast menu. Generous portions of food, that are cooked really nicely and are well presented. Really friendly staff who take pride in what they make and serve, especially the owner chef. The cakes and toasted sandwiches looked nice too. A place to recommend to fellow locals, like us and to visitors of the city.

We have just returned after another relaxing stay at the Cholmeley Arms . Food - Great. Rooms and beds- Great. Staff throughout- Great . John and Lesley - The Greatest , Friendliest host’s ever . If it hadn’t been for the “ Four in a bed “ programme on tv we may not have visited the Cholmeley Arms , so glad we like the programme. John and Lesley have made all our visits so enjoyable. After hearing the news of Johns retirement we would like to wish John and Lesley all the best for the future .

We stayed at the Cholmely Arms for one night only en route to elsewhere Our room was amazing - it had everything we needed plus a fridge! So good to have proper milk for our cups of tea! The evening mead was excellent - good selection and enormous portions! We were still full at breakfast - but we had a good try at eating the - again - huge portions we were served. Can’t wait to come back! Hi
