On arriving you see a sign informing you to go around the roundabout for parking, this I did but was looking for the hotel car park to which there is none. The car park is a multi storey car park which has nothing to do with the hotel. (£2.50 for the night). Make sure you park on the lower floor from here it’s a short walk to the hotel. Reception is automated , rooms is what you expect from Premier inn. The bar and lounge /dining area is just to the right of the front door, drinks are from a fridge or vending machine. I only had the breakfast which I did enjoy but was late starting. Would I stay again, Yes, due to its location.

Stayed at the Lichfield Premiere Inn Saturday night after a trip to Drayton Manor for my son’s birthday. Room was clean and ready for us as a family of 4. Shower was lovely and hot. We ate at the hotel for ease with young child. The evening meal had good choice and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The chicken curry was particularly tasty. We mentioned the reason for our trip in conversation and the next morning at breakfast the staff had put up banners and balloons, a chocolate bar present and cooked a special pancake breakfast for my son. Excellent service and extra effort from both evening and morning staff.

The hotel location is great, close to the city and parking is very well priced and easy to get to the hotel from. The hotel staff were very friendly and the reception and bar/restaurant area was very clean. The room felt a little dirty and the floor did look like it needed a good hover. We did find a hair in the bed, however it was clear the bedding was fresh. My husband noted that the three canvas pictures were really out of line and someone must have hung them while drunk. A few hours later my 3 year old son walked down the side of the bed and the middle canvas feel off hitting him in the head and causing him to fall. He was not hurt luckily but was very shocked and upset for a while after. When we reported it the staff were lovely and made sure he was ok. We wanted to let them know as we tried to rehang the canvas, it appeared it wasn’t hung right in the first place so we couldn’t put the picture back in the wall. Breakfast was slow and many items kept running out, making it almost impossible to have a full English in one plate or it would have been cold waiting. We would stay again as the location is great and the staff were lovely. I think we just got unlucky with our room.

Fantastic location, central to Lichfield. Staff friendly, and a lovely breakfast. Check in was not welcoming with impersonal machines that didn’t work anyway. Much nicer to be greeted by a person.

First impressions of the hotel is it is in a good location there is parking at £4.50 a day next door however if you are just staying overnight there are roads nearby you can park till 11am for free. The place has a lovely park nearby which my little one loved running around. Customer service was half and half initially on checking in I was ignored by an older lady she didn’t even acknowledge I was waiting for her - this happened twice initially I had difficulty self checking in, then to have a go on the raffle (which is a brilliant idea). I understand she was busy but common decency would be to acknowledge I was waiting. This was until a young lady called Chloe came over to help, she was also amazing when my little one was sick and turned the whole experience around which is why they review is 5 rating than 2 stars. My little one was so taken with her she was calling Chloe every time she saw her! Worked the till 12am shift. We had the breakfast cause we were using the hotel as a stepping stone for the rest of our journey. The breakfast I felt was definitely overpriced for what it was. It was nice enough but at £10.99 or £8.99 for the continental it was expensive.

The Hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff were fantastic, friendly ans very accommodating, resolving our additional requests immediately. We stayed in an accessible room which had all the adaptations needed. All in all great value for money and a really great place to stay

Not sure if I got the last room available or not - but it was a disabled room with no opening window and zircon that wasn't functioning on a really hot Friday night. I was comp'd breakfast in acknowledgement that the zircon wasn't working - which I initially thought was fair, but given the heat and an average breakfast I regret not getting a refund on checkin and heading elsewhere. Its convenient to the town centre and paid multi-storey next door for parking.
