Central Park Hotel Busan Reviews

City View Room My English isn't great, and the front desk staff don't speak Chinese. The hotel's ground floor (1F) is on a mezzanine level, so you have to lug your luggage up the stairs. They only provide one room key, which is really inconvenient for multiple guests. I stayed for 4 nights and requested no room cleaning. I had to go to the front desk myself to get water, fresh towels, and bath towels. The soundproofing in the room is terrible. The door stopper is almost broken and barely keeps the door from swinging shut. The door slams back quickly after opening, and I got hit by it several times. The faucet in the sink leaks, leaving the entire countertop wet. The fridge is tiny; it was almost full with just four banana milks, no room for soju. The small table in the room had a tabletop that was separate from its stand. The male staff member at the front desk during the morning shift had a very bad attitude. He initially refused to give us new towels and bath towels. Later that night, when I returned to the hotel, I showed the evening front desk staff the hotel's initial message stating, 'If you don't want room cleaning, you can get new towels from the front desk.' He then asked how many I needed and provided the new amenities. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 3-5 minute walk from Jagalchi and Nampo subway stations. It's also a 3-5 minute walk to Lotte Department Store and Lotte Mart. Gwangbok-ro is a 3-5 minute walk away. BIFF Square is about a 12-minute walk, International Market about 15 minutes, and Bupyeong Kkangtong Market about 20 minutes. Across from the hotel, there's a police station and Kyochon Chicken. Nearby, there are beverage shops, coffee shops, GS25, and CU convenience stores. When checking out, the same morning front desk male staff member motioned for me to return to my room. I remembered I had left something in the room, so I went upstairs to retrieve it. When I came back down, he still wouldn't let me check out and again told me to go upstairs. So, I went up again and asked the cleaning staff, but they didn't know why either. Afterward, she made a long phone call to the front desk (I even had my friend use a translation app to ask the front desk what the problem was!). The only response I got from the front desk staff was 'no problem.' So, was he deliberately making me run up and down the stairs just to mess with me?

I booked this hotel for an event and really appreciated the reasonable price. The lady at the front desk spoke Japanese and was very kind and helpful. The Lotte Department Store being within walking distance was a big plus! Being in the Nampo-dong area, it was great to be able to just wander around. I'd love to stay here again!

The hotel entrance with stairs was a bit of a struggle, but having two elevators was very convenient. I also loved the rain shower! It was great that the toilet and shower were separate. They use paper cups instead of glass in the rooms. Right in front is Kyochon Chicken, and next door is a police station, so you'll see patrol cars lined up. It's also nice that there are famous delicious restaurants within walking distance. I stayed in a 'half view' room; although I couldn't see Busan Tower, it was a corner room facing Lotte Department Store with lots of windows and a great view. I stayed for two nights, but after the two initial bottles in the fridge, there were no refills, towel changes, or trash collection. It would be a quiet place to relax and enjoy the harbor view.

This was my first trip to Busan. I wasn't sure which hotel to choose, but I ended up being really satisfied with this one! The room was incredibly spacious, especially the bathroom – it was so big it made me laugh! It's conveniently located near the subway, Lotte Mart, BIFF Square, etc. The front desk staff didn't speak Japanese, but they were very kind. You can easily communicate using a translation app.

Great value accommodation with a good view. It's close to the bus stop and the orange line MRT.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway station. They upgraded our room, which was very large and spacious. However, there was some fine sand on one of the beds, and the floor felt a bit dirty when walking on it. Aside from these minor issues, everything else was great. I would still choose to stay here again next time.

I was very happy with the corner room's location; it was bright with two windows. There was plenty of space for two suitcases, and while it was a shower-only room, I appreciated that the toilet was separate. Nampo Station is close by, and with a police station right in front of the hotel, the area felt very safe. My only complaints were that the room wasn't cleaned despite my request, and even though I left trash outside the door, it wasn't collected. There was also no replenishment of towels or water. It was inconvenient to use the AC, TV, and Wi-Fi because there were no instructions in the room. The towels were dirty, and there were no bath towels provided.

The smell of canalisation, but the rest is cool

We stayed at this hotel from the 2nd to the 7th of July. I sent an email a day before, requesting if we could check in early, as we would arrive in Busan at 6 am and hadn't had much sleep since our flight was at night. When we arrived, we were not greeted by the receptionist. When I asked if we could check in early, I was told I would have to pay 3,000 won per hour from the time of early check-in up to the usual check-in time of 3 pm. I agreed, but then he said if I couldn't give him cash, it would be 5,000 won per hour if I paid by card. So we had no choice but to wait. We went to Lotte Mall to kill time. Upon returning at 1 pm, I saw people who had waited before us had already managed to check in. I was a bit upset with this. We stayed on the 14th floor, where the room wasn't clean. It didn't look like the room had been mopped or vacuumed. We didn't care anymore as we were really tired. The room is outdated. The lighting system is sensor-based, but some of it doesn't work, so you'll have to switch it on from the main panel. The place, though, is undoubtedly close to a lot of places. Restaurants are also a few steps away from the hotel, plus you feel really safe because the police station is just across the road. Would we stay here again? Probably not, but it's good value for people who are traveling on a budget.

I was out and about most of the time and barely slept, so it was perfectly fine, but the smell from the bathroom drain was absolutely awful, lol. Given the price, I guess it's to be expected. If you ask me if I'd stay again, my answer is no.

My go-to hotel whenever I'm in Busan! The location is fantastic! Lotte Department Store is right in front, and it's super convenient to get to Nampo. I can drop off my shopping right after I'm done. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Had been here many times but this trip is bad, electricity tripped, I had to change room near midnight, following day after house keeping both room doors left unlocked , opened! Bath towels not even replenished!

Location is good, short walk to BIFF square However, the images are misleading, actual room is not bright nor it has good view outside since it can get blocked Bathroom lights was not working, making it dark and creepy at times especially at night Bed is very hard like rock, not nice Room cleaning only available if asked, so we had 3 days worth of trash TLDR, only good location.

The room as per pictures shown in the website. We got a view of harbour. Opposite Connect Busan Hotel, nearby Lotte Mall. The hotel surrounding is nice, walking distance to BIFF shopping streets, cafes & restaurants. Location wise is good; easy for uber to pickup us. And nearby public transport areas. The room also comfortable. The toilet is separated into two, just nice for the 3 of us. Got hairdryer & complementary tea & coffee. Overall, worth every penny. And I’ll repeat to stay here again.
