This was our second stay, and I truly believe it's the best hotel in the Seomyeon area. The building itself is brand new, so the common areas and guest rooms are incredibly clean and well-maintained.
There's another hotel in the same building, but HLB's rooms are on the upper floors, and it seems the elevators and front desk are shared. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making access superb.
Also, on the first floor, there's a bakery and a 24-hour convenience store, which was incredibly useful for late-night snacks and essentials. The room was very spacious, equipped with a large refrigerator, induction hob, kettle, and washing machine. True to its "Residence" name, you can really live comfortably and self-sufficiently in the room. The toilet is a bidet type, and flushing toilet paper was not an issue.
The power outlets by the bed are universal, so Japanese plugs can be used directly. However, other outlets are SE type, so if you plan to use multiple electronic devices, I recommend bringing a converter plug.
While the front desk staff doesn't speak Japanese, they are all fluent in English, so we had no trouble communicating.
The shower water pressure was fine, but the drainage in the bathroom was poor, causing water to accumulate easily. Also, I think it would be very helpful if they provided a washing machine guide in Korean and English (and Japanese, if possible) in the room. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next visit to Busan.
