Mini Hotel May Nampo

The hotel is located in the city center, with a metro station and shops within walking distance. Check-in and check-out are contactless. The room is bright and spacious, equipped with everything you need, including bathroom amenities.

Although the room was small, having the toilet and shower separate was very convenient. However, the waterproofing for the shower might not be very good. Even if water didn't splash outside the showering area, there was still some leakage near the bathtub, which needs improvement.

I stayed here during the BTS concert in Busan. It's about a 3-minute walk from Nampo Station Exit 1, and there's a CU convenience store right in front of the hotel. There are also many restaurants, a Daiso, and an Olive Young nearby. I got a little lost finding the hotel entrance though... Check-in and check-out are done via a machine at the entrance, where you exchange your card while speaking with staff inside. I couldn't get it to work smoothly for both, so a staff member came out to help me. At the entrance, there was BTS music playing and decorations, and in the room, there was even a letter and a gift on the bed – they really made it ARMY-friendly! The room isn't super spacious, but there's enough room to open a suitcase. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and you can even fill the bathtub. Towels and mineral water are replenished daily. The hotel floors are all on the top floor, so I assume all rooms have good views. I could see Busan Tower from my room! Personally, I would have liked tissues in the room, but overall, it was very convenient, so I'd love to stay here again!

A very charming hotel with a convenient self-check-in process. When you press the button on the check-in machine, a staff member comes to assist you. You can genuinely see Busan Tower from here, and it's very close to Nampo-dong, but because it's on a higher floor, it's not noisy.

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location, right next to Nampo Subway Station and a main road. It's also within walking distance to Busan's iconic attractions like Jagalchi Market and BIFF Square. Despite such a prime spot, the price was surprisingly affordable. I booked it even after reading some negative pre-arrival info, like the fact that some rooms have no windows. It's located on the 13th floor of a 13-story multi-use building. The 11th and 12th floors house another hotel, and lower floors contain clinics, making it a typical mixed-use building. However, the room itself was spotless and pristine, likely because the hotel just opened. Absolutely no complaints there! Though, I was quite surprised by the innovative design of the shower, which had no separate partition in the room. The lobby is unstaffed and entirely self-service (see last photo). I struggled a bit with check-in because it seemed you needed a password issued in advance. But I managed to sort it out through the intercom.

The hotel was clean and perfect for a solo stay. I stayed for two nights, but there was no cleaning service, so I had to reuse my towel. The curtains weren't blackout, so I woke up naturally with the morning light. The pictures showed a bathtub, but my assigned room only had a shower, which was a bit disappointing.

The location is absolutely fantastic. From my room, I had a direct view of Busan Tower. There's a convenience store nearby and Nampo-dong Street is also very close, making shopping and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel is located on the top floor of the building.
