Seomyeon Hound Hotel 1st Street Reviews

The room was clean and the location was fantastic, right in front of Seomyeon Station, making transportation super convenient! There are also lots of great restaurants nearby, so I definitely recommend it. Excellent value for money!

The environment is clean and the location is pretty good. However, we booked triple rooms for two of our rooms, and we were charged an extra 60,000 Korean Won for the third person, who was a child. The front desk staff at night weren't very friendly either. We weren't allowed to eat in the lobby; we had just started setting up when we were scolded. Because of the language barrier, we asked the front desk for help ordering food, and they impatiently and loudly refused. It was quite upsetting. On the day of checkout, we accidentally left a bag with a tablet inside, which was definitely our oversight. We called the hotel from the airport to ask the front desk to check if they found it. They immediately said they hadn't seen anything, so we took another taxi back to look for it ourselves. As soon as we walked in, the bag was right there in the lobby, meaning they hadn't even bothered to look. We definitely won't be considering staying here again.

This hotel is better than the one i stayed at haeundae. Location not bad too, near lotte department store and surrounded by alot of food choices. You won't go hungry here. I hearsay this is a love hotel, most likely i see the box has free condom but i see alot of tourist come stay. They provide bath and face towel, toothbrush, shampoos. The one i stayed toilet and bath is separate and balcony has a bath tub as well.

I booked this hotel for a 3-day, 2-night trip to Busan. It looks exactly like the photos! The location is pretty good, about a 7-minute walk from Seomyeon Station. Check-in is from 6 PM, so we dropped off our luggage and went out to explore. The front desk is open 24 hours, which is really reassuring!

Not worth the value.

The hotel room was quite clean and the bathroom was spacious and convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which is very handy, and the subway is also about 600 meters away. Lotte Department Store is also close by, which is a plus.

The shower drain was very slow. 😳

The air conditioning in this hotel felt completely broken. I stayed for three nights and had to switch rooms twice, but neither AC worked. Even set to 10 degrees, I couldn't feel any cool air. 😇 As for the environment, the window in my first room was right next to the head of the bed. In the middle of the night, some drunk people downstairs were shouting and arguing, which was very noisy.

1. This hotel often drops its prices significantly, so I recommend waiting to book closer to your travel date for a better deal. 2. This platform is more expensive than others, so I suggest comparing prices elsewhere. I'm a long-time Ctrip user, and the only reason I booked here was for their price guarantee, which promises to refund the difference. However, when an issue arose, customer service completely failed to address it. This feels like "false advertising." I hope everyone compares prices carefully to avoid overpaying for the same room as others.

Nice Hotel to stay in Busan! Location is great to explore most part of the city, its also located in an buzzing part of the city. Rooms where really big!

For its location and price point, there’s nothing negative you can comment on. Location is close to Lotte Department and its surrounding has many nice restaurants. Taxis are always available for flag down Room size is ideal for shoppers. Able to open up 3 large luggages. Came with a bath tub too. Everything is functional and clean. You need to remind the team daily for house keeping services

hotel room is bigger than shown in the pictures! amenities and breakfast was great too. no complaints,  maybe only if the toilet has a door to the entrance of the toilet instead of the shower that would be great. other than that, no complaints !   there is a 7eleven just a few steps from the lobby and many food around the area

【Busan (Seomyeon Station Area) Hotel】 If you're not too bothered about cleanliness and just prioritize value for money, then this hotel is recommended. Pros: ・Breakfast automatically included (It's a basic breakfast, not much to get excited about). ・About a 7-minute walk from Seomyeon Station. ・About a 4-minute walk to Lotte (a great point for those interested in ***). ・Bottled water was provided for each person (there's a water dispenser in the lobby, so we could drink freely throughout our stay ◎). Cons: ・The area around this hotel is a district with many bars and love hotels. On Friday night, there was noise pollution, with voices from outside audible until early morning (even with the window closed, as our window faced an alley, which made the noise easily audible). ・Only one face towel per person was provided (I asked at the counter for bath towels, but begrudgingly only received face towels. Oddly, there were bath towels on the staircase though...). ・The duvet was thin... it might be fine for spring to summer, but I don't think it would be sufficient for a Korean winter. ・Every time we returned, the room was filled with humidity... It wasn't because we just used the bath, but humidity filled the entire room... Perhaps the building's structure or ventilation system isn't adequate. Despite having many downsides, the Seomyeon area wasn't as crowded as Seoul, so I could relax relatively well and enjoy shopping comparable to Seoul, making it highly recommended! ✨

Everyone listen to me!!! This was a very bad experience. First of all, the female staff in the counter was very rude. She was like she didn't want to provide service to us. She even took picture of us without our permission possibly due to some communication problems. On the other hand, the room was not clean and the facilities were quite old. We were given a room on the floor that the lift could not reach. I checked out soon after that, and I later reported the issue to Trip.com but no refund was given to me. I definitely DO NOT suggest this hotel. There are still many choices nearby.
