"Apart from the room being a bit on the small side, everything else was excellent. This is a hot spring hotel where guests wear provided robes/yukata and remove their shoes. It's very baby-friendly: they offered a set of baby clothes and toiletries, and high chairs were available in the dining area. Dinner consisted of soy sauce noodles and drinks. Breakfast was generous, featuring a variety of Nara specialties served in many small dishes. The hot springs are located on the first floor, with separate facilities for men and women. Indoors, there are warm and cold pools, and outdoors, there's an open-air bath, along with a sauna. Showers are available after your soak. It's advised that infants and young children avoid the very hot or very cold springs; a simple shower is sufficient for them. Outside the onsen, you can enjoy popsicles and read manga, which kids will particularly enjoy."

"The location is incredibly convenient, just across the street from Kintetsu Nara Station and a short walk from Exit 6. Check-in is self-service, and the front desk even features a robot dinosaur! Checking out and storing luggage the next day was also very easy, thanks to their self-service lockers. The price is very reasonable, and the room is a good size. Plus, there's a direct bus available to the Montbell flagship store."

"The room was tiny, only 12 square meters, leaving no space to even open my suitcase. The air conditioning remote was fixed to the headboard, meaning there was no temperature control, though it was sufficiently cool. The blackout curtains didn't seal properly, and a small gap let sunlight stream directly onto my face, waking me up every morning. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the JR station, and parking was also very easy. There's a small Thai grocery store just across the street."

"Excellent room, neat and clean. They got everything you need in the self serve counter, facial cleanser, toner, you name it they have it. Big bath tub and super comfy bed. "This hotel was an absolutely ideal base for exploring Nara, thanks entirely to its unbeatable location. Situated right on the edge of **Nara Park**, we could literally walk out the door and be amidst the famous, friendly deer within minutes – feeding them was a magical start to each day! The proximity to the park also meant easy walking access to major temples like Todaiji and Kofukuji, saving us so much time and hassle.
Another huge plus was being directly adjacent to a charming traditional **shopping street**. It was wonderful to have easy access to local crafts, delicious snacks (try the mochi!), unique souvenirs, and cozy cafes right on our doorstep, especially in the evenings after temple visits.
The convenience truly made our trip. While the room was clean and comfortable, fulfilling its purpose well as a place to rest, it was the **location, location, location** that earned this hotel our strong recommendation. If you want to be in the heart of Nara's magic, steps away from deer, temples, and local shopping vibes, this spot is perfect. Highly recommended for location-focused travelers!"

"It's very comfortable as its name. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have Laundromat coined machines plus driers on 5th floor. It's very convenient. However, the breakfast is almost totally the same. I stayed there 4 nights. They changed a few menus. If you don't mind, you can get some meal box from AEON supermarket at JR Nara station and warm it with the microwave at the hotel. That's fine."

"This is a great choice for solo travelers. It's located on Nara's main street, perfectly situated between Kintetsu Nara Station and JR Nara Station, offering easy access to all the major sights. There are numerous dining options nearby, and I'd advise against eating at the hotel as the prices are quite high. It's excellent for an overnight stay and provides great value for money. Although the rooms are small, they're well-equipped, and you can even take a bath to relax and wash away the day's tiredness. The view is alright. If you're after luxury, there are plenty of 4- and 5-star hotels in the area."

"This B&B is in an excellent location. It costs about 1,300 yen to take a taxi from Kintetsu Nara Station. You can directly reach the foot of Mt. Wakakusa. Just go down a few steps and you will find this B&B...
Facilities: The shared toilets and bathrooms are really clean...the bathrooms have sufficient water pressure, a bit similar to the bathrooms in RVs
Environment: If there is any shortcoming, it is because the room is a bit old, so there will be a bit of musty smell when you come in, and the floor will creak a bit when you step on it. The rest is very good, the location is perfect, you can see deer outside the window, and you can go out early in the morning. You can go to Wakakusa Mountain, the deer are still sleeping
Service: The front desk speaks English very well and can communicate easily. They will also give you a map and explain how to play. The attitude is very good and the service is very considerate!
All in all, it’s really good🥺I like Nara very much, it’s a very worthwhile trip!"

After leaving from JR Nara station gate, you can directly walk to 2nd floor of this hotel, it's the best location. This hotel has very good arrangements, good facilities. This hotel provides pajamas, comb, cotton bud, toothbrush for picking up at front of lift. This hotel is very clean.. All facilities in the room has everything, i really enjoy staying in this hotel.

Cleanliness: True to Japanese standards, the hotel was spotlessly clean, providing complete peace of mind during my stay.
Environment: Despite being surrounded by busy roads, the hotel's soundproofing is superb, ensuring a quiet night's sleep with virtually no noise.
Service: The Japanese-style service was excellent. There was even a friendly ********* staff member at the front desk, allowing for seamless communication in Chinese.

EeddiehappyA hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

However, both the interior and exterior of the building exuded an aristocratic grandeur. The front desk staff were incredibly polite, professional, and went above and beyond to help guests with any issues. The hot spring had specific operating hours, and unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to experience it, which was a slight disappointment.

GGuest UserHotel is at Kintetsu Nara station. Easily accessible when taking train. Nice quaint area to walk. Room has humidifier, kettle and cups, hairdryer, mini fridge and a tv. Breakfast comes with delicious thick toast set and coffee. Laundromat is at the cosy lobby area. I stayed for 2 nights. Many good eateries around the area and shopping malls. Tourist attractions are walking distance only. Highly recommend this hotel 👍🏻

Room was a lot more spacious than most other hotels of the price. They have a dining/seating area in the lobby, as well as a dry foot spa and a manga corner. Would stay here again.

GGuest UserHotel Nikko truly lives up to its reputation as a renowned Japanese hotel chain. Hotel Nikko Nara is ideally located right at the exit of JR Nara Station. With bus terminals (both north and south plazas) conveniently situated just outside, it offers exceptional ease of access to Nara Park and other major attractions. The hotel's service attitude was also outstanding. Immediately upon check-in, a kind staff member from the hotel lounge noticed we had a child with us and thoughtfully prepared two different flavored juices and cookies for us to take to our room. It was such a considerate gesture to help tide us over! After returning to the hotel from our outing, we were pleasantly surprised to find our clothes and toys neatly organized and even arranged adorably. They truly went the extra mile!
