Shaoguan Business Hotels

I just booked this hotel randomly, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the familiar scent of lavender. We often use lavender diffusers at home too, so I instantly felt relaxed. The guy at the front desk was super genuine; check-in took less than two minutes, and he even proactively told us about a great local restaurant nearby that locals frequent, completely unlike a typical sales pitch. We stayed in a king room, and it was spotless inside. The sheets and duvet covers felt really comfortable, and the pillows were soft. There was absolutely no noise at night, and I slept soundly until morning. The shower water heated up quickly, and the water pressure was good – a hot shower was incredibly refreshing. The biggest surprise was the location: just a few steps downstairs to the riverside. Taking a walk and enjoying the breeze in the evening was fantastic. There are snack shops all around, and if you get hungry late at night, delivery arrives in about fifteen minutes. Plus, parking is free if you're driving. The value for money here is truly unbeatable!

I am pretty familiar with hotel business in China and this one is fascinating. Hardware-wise it is comparatively easy to be high quality and it is the software side amazes me. I booked a suite room and arrived late in the evening due to traffic. The check-in was smooth and we settled down quickly and found that both TV sets were not properly functional. Quickly they reacted to send a tech and then decided to switch a room for us after the tech failed to fix the problem (eventually I found a solution to fix it and it is actually because of the telecom but not their TV properties). During the stay, their problem solving capability and attitude to clients were one of the best I have ever encountered in China. If you go to the city for a leisure, I highly recommend this and for anything you may reach their director of operations Mr. Xu Qiang. I will definitely visit them again.

Highly recommended! **Pros:** * Parking is completely free with no restrictions on space or time. * The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly, granting my request for a late check-out until 2 PM. **Things to note:** * This is a large hotel, and the corridors on each floor can be quite long. If you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, it's a good idea to request a room closer to the elevator when you check in.

Pros: Good location. The hotel itself is very close to the train station. Besides that, the building itself has a shopping mall and there are few different types of cuisine restaurants in it. Uniqueness and cleanliness. It's quite interesting that they have the room type of loft design. The room is spacious and the cleanliness is good. Bar. There are quite a few types of interesting craft beers which quite nice to try out. Cons: Amenities in room. There are only dental kits set up inside the room.They'll only provide the other amenities when you request. Varieties of food options in the restaurant. Too few varieties to be chose for breakfast and it's the same thing repeated. Only one option for each Chinese and Western cuisine and you choose either one.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Location & Comfortable Stay I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The location is excellent—just 10 metres from the Fengcai Building, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The room was cozy, clean, and offered a nice city view. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the essential amenities. Check-in and checkout were both smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the variety of food options available nearby, along with a mini supermarket just around the corner. Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience without the frills. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers or anyone visiting the area!

This hotel is located right in the city center, with direct access to the mall on both the 1st and 3rd floors. There's even a large supermarket on the 3rd floor of the mall, which makes shopping incredibly convenient, perfect for families. The hotel service was fantastic; we received welcome fruits and dessert soup. The staff even noticed we were a family of three and brought an extra portion of soup, which really made us feel valued. Definitely worth a great review [strong].

When we arrived at the address given by City Comfort Inn we’re stunned to find the place an abandoned building. For a minute we thought we’re victims of a hotel scam. But a call to the hotel quickly sorted out the actual location which was just a little down the road. The hotel seemed to be newly renovated with clean rooms and well maintained facilities. However what we loved most was the location of the hotel. It was practically next door to the Shaoguan East Railway station & the bus station. From here we easily caught a bus to Danxia Mountain. At night we enjoyed walking to and along the FengDu Lu BuXingJie for our dinner. The next morning it was a breeze making our way to the Shaoguan Railway Station to take our train back to Guangzhou City Comfort Inn fitted naturally and perfectly into our itinerary!

I am a foreign traveller from Singapore. On my day of arrival on 29 December, i was greeted friendly by the front desk named Mr 小戴. He gave me a free room upgrade and answered to all my queries patiently and politely. On the second night, i seeked some help from the front desk Miss 小胡 and she too was really friendly and courteous. Thumbs up to those two people. The room was clean, and all amenities were functioning properly except that the shower drain may be a bit clog and water may flow out when turning on full tap for shower. The location is very close to Shaoguan railway station, just 15 minutes walk over the bridge. There are also many eateries nearby with a shopping mall just opposite of the main road. The breakfast was sumptuous with decent amount of chinese choices in buffet style. Some oranges are available and soy drink and tea for drink. I will definitely consider coming to this hotel again if i visit Shaoguan in the future.

The room was excellent, very grand, and had a vintage feel; it was a very prestigious luxury five-star hotel from over a decade ago. The decor and facilities reflected this vintage atmosphere. The water pressure from the taps was strong and plentiful, and the drains were unclogged and odorless. The location was also excellent, offering views of the century-old Dongjie Street and the Beijiang River. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was much better than typical chain hotels, and I was quite full. The receptionist was very polite, and the other staff were also very helpful. The only slightly eerie thing was the presence of a middle-aged man. We went to bed very late last night, and when I woke up groggily, I felt a middle-aged man walk into the door. I tried to call my sister, but couldn't. I wondered if he might be... He started to move, and then I realized he was fighting for control of my body. I felt like I was struggling, kicking, and screaming, but I couldn't make a sound. Later, I got really hungry, so I told him we had fried rice on the table for lunch and we could go eat it. After a while, I realized I could move again, so I got up, immediately turned on the light, and rummaged through my bag, taking out all the amulets inside. My sister asked me what I was doing, but I didn't dare tell her for fear of scaring her. I said it would be easier to sleep if I laid them out. Then I turned on the hallway light, and it took me a long time to fall asleep. I stay in so many hotels every year, but this is the only thing I've never really experienced before. It was so scary. Our room number ended in 26, and I can't say which floor it was. Then I remembered that the hotel didn't have a room with the number 4, so I avoided the possibility of starving to death with room number 24. It was terrifying.
