We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located. We especially enjoyed the wide selection at breakfast, with plenty of choices available. The staff at the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making our dining experience even more pleasant. We also loved relaxing at the Infinity Pool, which was a great highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Oakwood Batam again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is super conveniently located. There's a convenience store right across the street, and behind the hotel, you'll find a bunch of seafood shops. Plus, there are coffee shops, dessert places, and restaurants everywhere nearby, so finding food is really easy. However, there's quite a bit of traffic in the area, so you need to be careful when you're out and about. There's a hair salon nearby called 'See Huan Ni' that offers manicures and hair washes, but personally, I thought their hair washing technique was just so-so, so I wouldn't really recommend it. Right next to the hair salon is a massage parlor with really good massage techniques – definitely worth checking out. And it's super easy to get a Grab around here. One thing to really watch out for is your change. Sometimes they give you a lot of small bills, so always count your change carefully after paying to make sure the amount is correct and you're not shortchanged.

A Wonderful Stay at Grand Mercure Batam ✨ We had a truly pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Batam. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and gracious hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and their genuine warmth and sincerity made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a lovely space for our family to unwind and relax. The hotel’s location is also wonderfully convenient, with shopping malls, popular local cafés, and renowned seafood restaurants just a short distance away. It made exploring Batam and enjoying the local food scene effortless. The breakfast experience was another highlight. There was an impressive variety of choices, and everything we tried was delicious and well presented. We especially enjoyed the grilled meat, which was exceptionally tasty and definitely one of our favourites. One area that could perhaps be improved is the soundproofing of the rooms. As we were travelling with a toddler, we could occasionally hear vehicle noise from outside at night, which disrupted our little one’s sleep slightly. Hopefully, this can be enhanced in the future to make the stay even more peaceful for families. Overall, Grand Mercure Batam offered us a beautifully comfortable and memorable stay, combining a convenient location, spacious and immaculate rooms, delicious dining, and genuinely warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be very happy to return for another relaxing stay in Batam. 🤍✨

My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully kept. The bed was incredibly comfortable — I slept so well every night! Air-conditioning worked perfectly, hot water was strong, and all amenities were in great condition. Everything felt modern, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything tidy and refreshed daily.

Good location, but disappointed with the toilet issue This is my second time staying at this hotel, and overall, I still really like the place. The location is very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel also has a café, and the menu is amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful when we raised our concerns. However, there were two issues that made me disappointed during this stay. Firstly, the toilet door was a little loose. Every time we closed the door, it would open again by itself, so it could not stay properly closed. Secondly, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. We informed the staff, and they did help us to improve the situation, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately, the unpleasant smell came back again the next day. Overall, I still think this is a good hotel with a great location and facilities. I hope the management can look into these toilet issues more thoroughly to improve the experience for future guests.

Asialink Hotel by Prasanthi is my favourite hotel in Batam. By a considerable margin. Best described as ”luxury boutique”, the management team and staff have perfected the art of hospitality here. I and my partner can find nothing to fault, from the quality of the welcome to the beautiful pool to the plentiful, varied and high quality breakfast buffet. Definitely book a lake-view room for a better view! The hotel staff are all very friendly, and the Chinese restaurant in the hotel is absolutely fantastic 👍 We ate there for two consecutive days and didn't get tired of it 👍 Especially the hotel lobby manager, Deriana, who is super friendly, provides excellent service, is very professional, and speaks amazing Chinese 👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Excellent Stay with a Perfect Location! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed with the overall experience. The location is one of its biggest advantages — BCS Mall, Grand Batam Mall, Alfamart, Indomaret, Fore Coffee, and plenty of local street food are all within walking distance. It’s incredibly convenient and makes exploring the surrounding area so easy. The room was exceptionally clean, neat, well-organised, and smelled fresh and pleasant. Everything was well taken care of, which made the room very comfortable to return to after a long day. The only minor improvement I would suggest is some maintenance for the flooring and the bathroom door. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a great variety of food to choose from, and the taste was genuinely good. There were plenty of options, so it was easy to find something enjoyable for breakfast. The service was also excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping teams were friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Their warm and professional service really made the experience even better. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent combination of a fantastic location, cleanliness, good breakfast, and outstanding service. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Batam. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a pleasant hotel located near Harbour Bay, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again. The guest room was comfortable, but the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. The swimming pool access felt a little unusual, as the entrance is located next to the restaurant, while the changing rooms are quite a distance away, making it less convenient for guests. The gym is spacious, which is a great feature. However, many of the machines were out of order, so maintaining or replacing the equipment would significantly improve the fitness facilities.

Very good service. Pool looks dirty and shallow. Breakfast had a variety and decent tasting. Hotel had a convenient minimart downstairs, staffed by a cute fluffy kitty! Hotel also has a good central location, many attractions are within easy reach. Around walking distance from the hotel are Nagoya Hill mall, and an area between fave hotel, Thamrin Food Court and Astons Nagoya. That area has a good satay stall and many massage outlets. Many more food options and more minimarts are also available there!
