I’m giving 5 stars not because everything was perfect, but because as a housekeeping supervisor in another Travelodge, I believe in supporting each other. That said, here’s my honest review: We were warmly welcomed by a lovely blonde lady at reception – clear, friendly, professional. Great start! Room 401 was clean and tidy – big kudos to the housekeeping team, you’re doing a great job! But the bathroom was a letdown: toilet leak, mold on tiles, dirty drain, and a worn floor. I don’t blame housekeeping – this needs proper deep cleaning and supervision. Breakfast? Mixed feelings. Fruit salad looked amazing… then vanished. Day two: half-frozen mush. Not ideal. Toaster didn’t work – cold breakfast for us. And maintenance staff using the coffee machine during peak time? Guests first, always. I reported the bathroom issue – it was noted but not resolved. In my hotel, we’d switch the guest’s room immediately to fix it fast and avoid damage. This isn’t a complaint – it’s advice from someone who knows the job. No hard feelings, just honest feedback.
