"Clean and comfortable place to stay very close to Byron bay. There is a bus stop right outside but the buses are not very frequent. We were allowed to leave our bags at the reception for free after checkout which was useful. The beach is a short walk away (though do be careful of snakes. I’d recommend taking the pathed route) which was great for seeing sunrise."

"The hotel is like bungalow, it’s a good size, with the kitchen stuff very convenient. The location is great, in a quiet road and very close to the main center with restaurants and shops. Just need a little refurbishment, the walls and the plumbing, there was a leak in the bathroom. Overall was very nice staying."

"The location is very close to the bus station, right in the city center, and a short walk to the beach. However, the front desk doesn't open until 8:30 and closes at 7:00, so it's not very friendly to those arriving early or late. There's a WWS grocery store nearby, which is very convenient. There's one toilet on each floor, and the beds are for five people. It's not a female dorm, lol, and the facilities are a bit old. It can't compare to the YHAs in Sydney."

"My wife and I agreed this was probably our favorite hostel in all of Oz (Outback and East Coast). Its a bit expensive but worth it. It’s not in the heart of town, but we preferred the location which has a nice cafe/restaurant directly next door and beach is literally across the street. Could see the water from our private room above reception. Staff could not be friendlier and more helpful, shout out to Argentina, happy for their futbol win! There’s a shuttle that takes you to town every hour, but after a few margaritas it’s a pleasant 20 min walk back even at night. Bathroom and shower was nice, kitchen nice, and wifi was strong. Our only mistake was only staying one night during our east coast tour. Byron is worth as many nights as you can afford."

"Byron Springs is a delightful older design (think Old Florida/Old QLD) place with whitewashed walls and wooden floors, and an open lounge area set in lush surroundings.  Our room was more than adequate for a one night stay.  The bed & bedding were comfortable.  The room, while small, was fine.  The bathroom had everything we needed. The negatives were we could hear the other guests coming and going, and the wood floors creaked loudly.  One of guests took up 2 parking spots.  Also the toilet in our bathroom ran all night.  We were unable to stop it so we just closed the door to the bathroom. Other than that, we had a nice stay.  Thank you Laura!🤗"

GGuest UserVery beautiful hotel, the room is decorated in a seaside style, the downstairs is equipped with a swimming pool, the front desk service is very intimate! Ctrip members prepared welcome red wine in advance, arranged in the room, do not drink the whole bottle to go 🥳 There are bicycles and helmets downstairs, you can get the keys to the front desk, and ride to the town and the beach for a few minutes~ The sunset of the burning cloud in Byron Bay is so beautiful! It's a pity that you can't see the beach sunset in the east

KkornhillIt is estimated that there are very few Chinese people who book a trip to Byron Bay on Ctrip. The reviews are all translated from English, so they are not very useful for reference. I will write a few words here for reference in case there are people who know this place and want to travel there. First of all, there are very few Asians in Byron Bay. For those who just want to check in at a certain place and take a photo to post on WeChat Moments, it is quite boring here. It is recommended to go to Bali or Phuket. The place is simple and not high-end. The hotel we stayed in... The whole Australia is almost the same - the hardware is old and shabby. The decoration of the all-seasons level is very good, at least it should be considered a four-star... There are not many attractions, so Asians who are afraid of the sun can take a detour. This hotel is old and there is no daily cleaning. It is an ”apar**ent-style” hotel, which means that you live in an apar**ent and you are responsible for cleaning and taking out the garbage during your stay. It is clean and tidy inside, but it is really too old. The tableware, cups and plates are all large and small, and they are all pieced together. Anyway, practicality is important, and other things don't matter. The location is very convenient, very close to the main beach and the downtown area (but these places are usually crowded and relatively cheap). However, there is a restaurant on the main beach. Every afternoon, happy hour costs more than 30 Australian dollars, two glasses of wine + a large plate of fresh shrimps, which are large and delicious. It is a good deal. If you say you will come again tomorrow, the boss may not be happy... Walking out of the hotel, on the busiest street outside the main beach, I drank white wine and ate oysters in several restaurants during happy hour. I found that the price of oysters varies greatly, and some are twice as much. If I don’t explore and compare, I really don’t know. Back to this hotel, the overall target audience should be backpackers. From the perspective of this group, it may be very satisfactory. Therefore, a hotel that matches your spending power and feels cost-effective is a good hotel. We booked the hotel late, and there was no room at a suitable price, and the available rooms were too expensive to accept. This was the only one, so we chose it. It is also a kind of fate.
