Cable Beach Resort was such a lovely holiday with lots of restaurants and activities to go to and experience. once construction is done inbetween the resort and beach it will be even better for views and access. The facilities and rooms were awesome and so comfortable. A big resort with a bit of walking which we didn’t mind. It’s not inexpensive to stay and purchase food and drinks but it’s all very good quality. Currently has construction in between the beach and resort so had to walk around each time and it partially blocked the view of the sunset and beach from the sunset bar and grill. But nothing you can do about that and it wasn’t the worst thing. What made the resort the best though was the staff and what they were allowed to offer was next level. From arriving at the airport to get a free shuttle to the resort without having to organise any of our luggage from the moment we went to the desk at the airport to having our stuff in our room. The reception staff welcomed us with a glass of bubbles which was delicious but the service and friendliness of Marisa/Marsa (sorry I forgot to look how to spell it) was beyond words- she was so hilarious, kind and our favourite!! Sunset Bar and Grill - Kelly and Declan went above and beyond to organise and change cabs with reception and we’re amazing at their jobs and had the best customer service. Declan make us the best espresso martini’s and gave us an overall incredible dinner experience, Cezembre and Silvia were also so lovely and helpful. Melky at the Kimberley pool was a legend and made us delicious cocktails and even organised room service food for us after the bar had stopped serving food. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and made the resort the best experience possible.

A fantastic resort with exceptional staff. Especially Victorias and Sami, who gave us an extraordinary welcome and looked after us wonderfully. We felt like part of a big family. This was our second time at this hotel and it won't be our last. A big thank you to the whole resort for these wonderful days!

Many stays over many years and this is one of the must return to hotels . Landscaping is the best of any resort anywhere in the world. Unfortunately this trip the local shire while meaning well with new beachfront work didn’t seem to coordinate with the resort as access was less than ideal but once inside absolutely wonderful. The staff are well trained and interaction with any was like family. High praise for Adrian Chris and exceptional Margaux at Kitchi restaurant. I hope to return for my 30th trip next season.

We attended to teach a course. The conference facilities were fantastic. My room was secluded, private and quiet. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and pleasant and no request was too much. The pools and poolside bar/food were easy to find a space and the service was fabulous. Restaurants were lovely. Only things to note are that there is a lot of construction outside the resort and that willl be ongoing for a couple more years, so if beach access is important, you may need to choose a different place.

We loved out stay at Cable Beach Club. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The grounds are lovely ( and often visited by wallabies!). The restaurants are top class ( we ate in two of them and absolutely loved both meals). There are two pools, both stunningly beautiful and one of them adults only. One of the best things about the pools is that there are actually enough deck chairs and cabanas that you don't need to worry about being able to get one at any time of the day. That is a rare thing in resorts. Sitting around the ocean pool and relaxing was one of the true treats of our stay. The ocean pool is also quite large - large enough to enjoy swimming laps if you get up early before others come to the pool. A pool this size is also a rarity. The service is impeccable throughout the hotel and its restaurants. The hotel is located quite far from Broome, but there is a once a day free shuttle that will take you into town for shopping at around 10am. So, why did I rate this beautiful place a 4, rather than a 5? Cable Beach Club is extremely expensive and for the price they charge, it needs to be perfect or at least near perfect. Here are a few of the things that make it less than perfect. 1. The bedding. We stayed twice. In our first room, the bedding was old-fashioned sheets and blankets, like something out of last century. In our second room we had decent duvets, but still not of the quality and comfort I expect for the price we were paying. 2. The noise in some rooms. As I said, we stayed twice. Our first room was in the Frangipani Wing. On our balcony we could hear the constant noise of music from the nearby pool and other noise from the nearby sport facilities. For the price we were paying, I expect tranquility. Our second room was in the Corella Wing ( the adults only part of the resort). It was much quieter ( and more expensive). If you are going to pay Cable Beach Club prices, then I recommend you pay the extra and treat yourself to a room in the adults only section. It is worth the extra. 3. Extra charges. The airport shuttle costs 5 dollars per person each way and if you want to store bags, it's 10 dollars a day. Why would a hotel charging this much bother with these small extra charges that make them close to no money? It's a bit baffling really. So, in sum - Cable Beach Club is a stunning facility and staying there is a treat. It could and should be just that bit better for the prices they charge, however.

Very comfortable accommodation. Plenty of choice for dining but quite expensive. CBCR supply plastic water bottles that need to be refilled: they could be bigger! The current works going on in the immediate proximity were a bit of an eyesore, but no doubt will look great when completed.

Very welcoming staff at the airport and shuttle bus, but the information available at the desk was minimal. Arrived at midday on a Friday and found it difficult to find somewhere for lunch as most places were closed. The room was comfortable but we were only provided with 2 small bottles of water for our 2 day stay. The floorboards were very creaky so I pity the people below us. The resort lacked the sophistication that you would expect when it is advertised and priced as” luxury.” The restaurants were very good but again lacked a degree of sophistication eg no finger bowls or napkins when you had finger food such as duck pancakes. The exception was the restaurant beside the adults only pool where the service and food was excellent. The grounds were tired and some ponds filled with algae. In summary high price, lacked sophistication and not luxury.

This is a large but not impersonal complex of over 200 rooms and villas set in lush tropical grounds. Our bedroom and shower room were of ample size plus a terrace. Unlike some earlier reviewers we found it to be in a good state of modern, tasteful decor with WiFi, TV, safe box and quiet aircon. A door on the toilet area itself would have been appropriate. We enjoyed the quiet (other than unnecessary muzak), adults only large pool area. The front office and travel desk staff were always helpful. Considering the size of the hotel with four food outlets, there was some but limited vegetarian choice. Sol poolside Mediterranean (principally Greek) lunch offered tasty food but small plates, Sunset Grill dinner very good and the asian restaurant was fine. The location would been ideal had it not been temporarily spoiled by the large scale construction work underway forming a barrier between the hotel and beach itself. There were surprisingly poor transport links (it was peak season) to Broome town. Just one hotel shuttle bus service per day (even this is unavailable when fully booked) and a local bus running once an hour.
