This establishment could be so great it’s too bad that the owner is so not into the international clients who visit his property. I stayed there for two weeks and I couldn’t get him to give me directions on how to get to a nearby town. Meanwhile the French visitors he was pulling out Google maps and printing them directions and they were only there for a weekend. I’ll take my business elsewhere thank you very much. And then he added some bs charge at the checkout.. fine charge me, I can afford it.

This is a nice hotel in a nice location on walking distance to Le Sentier des Ocres in the center of Roussillon. I could have given it five stars, but I ended up with three due to the following reasons: - welcome was rather cold and perfunctory; - staff was not really interested in us; - there were too many instructions and regulations, e.g. "Any consumption of food and/or drinks is prohibited in the rooms (...)". "In the event of non-compliance with these regulations or in the event of disagreement with the instructions of Management, we reserve the right to terminate the current stay (...)". Welcome ;-) - rooms were really small; - reception, bar and pool are closed at 8 pm; - there was a bottle of water in the room, but there were no glasses, not even in the bathroom.

We spent two nights at this amazing place. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and well-thought out, with its cute little balcony overlooking the lovely relaxing yard. There are a couple of areas on the main floor where one can spread out and read/write, whether inside or out. The breakfast is outstanding, well worth its modest cost. Warm hospitality seems to be its motto! With a 15 min walk to the centre of Roussillon, its location is perfect. Highly recommended!!!

Such a lovely place. The gent that runs it is so lovely, really helpful, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are simple but clean, the pool is lovely. It’s very quiet. Well placed near Roussillon and within driving distance of all the villages. Highly recommend if you want a tranquil spot!

We stayed here for three nights and were so glad we booked it. The hotel is easy to get to and there is ample parking outside. The carpark is locked overnight but you can still get cars in/out with the keyfob from your room if needed. Check-in was very easy and we were early so they very kindly allowed us to use the pool while we waited for our room. The lady who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. She came out to the pool area to tell us when our room was ready, then brought us up and explained how everything worked in the hotel. All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely, so helpful and professional. The reception closes from 8pm to 8am but they made that very clear and show you how to enter/exit the hotel during these times as that area is closed off. The room itself was wonderful. Really charming and so clean. A comfortable bed and the hotel was really quiet so we got a great night's sleep. The air-conditioning was just right and kept us cool. The bathroom is really modern with a fantastic shower. There is also a separate little room for the toilet. It sounds bizarre to comment on it but the flooring is so soft - you will see what I mean!  Our room had a small little balcony with a table and two chairs which was nice. There is also a safe, plenty of storage space for clothes etc and a small fridge. The pool area was lovely. It wasn't too busy during our stay and the water temperature was lovely - refreshing without being too cold. There are deck chairs but also a lovely covered over seating area if you'd like shade from the sun. The location was great. It was about a ten minute walk from the village of Roussillon. It has footpath the whole way in. There is a small supermarket and are plenty of places to eat / get ice-cream! There are lovely views from the village too. It had a nice charm to it. I would have liked the option to have breakfast included when booking via *********** as it ended up adding quite a lot on to our bill and we would have liked to have been able to budget for it in advance. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. A really great place to stay.

We stayed here for three nights at the start of a walking tour. The hotel is located on the edge of town, so it's about a 15 minute walk into the centre where the restaurants and cafes are located. Rooms are small, which is standard for accommodation in France. There's a small balcony which gets the morning sun. Good shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast options are good. We also made use of the gorgeous pool as it was quite warm during our stay.

Well appointed room with little verandah overlooking the picturesque small garden. Great breakfast in lovely setting overlooking the pool. However, our stay was spoilt by one male staff member who seemed uninterested or ill informed about local services and failed to acknowledge that our air conditioning wasn’t working properly and walked away mid conversation. A real pity as other staff were very friendly and polite.
