We stayed at Hamersons Hotel CDO for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing in several key areas. Room: The room itself was basic but acceptable. However, the major issue was the extremely poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear conversations from the next room — to the point that it disrupted our rest and woke me up early in the morning. We even contacted the front desk to request assistance in asking the neighboring guests to lower their noise, but the staff were unable to resolve the problem. This level of noise disturbance made it very difficult to rest comfortably and is not acceptable for a hotel stay. Breakfast: The breakfast quality was subpar. Most of the food was processed, the coffee was very weak, and the pandesal was hard due to the absence of a warmer. Food trays were also not refilled promptly, likely due to understaffing. Service: Service was inconsistent. There was no available hair dryer when requested. Housekeeping knocked early in the morning for cleaning even though the “cleaning” light was not switched on, showing a lack of coordination and consideration for resting guests. Additionally, when we arrived early and requested to have our luggage brought up once the room was ready, we were told it would be done — but it never was. Overall Impression: Our overall experience at Hamersons Hotel CDO was below expectations. The combination of thin walls, unresolved noise disturbance, disappointing breakfast, and lapses in service indicates a need for stronger management oversight and better staff training. We hope the management takes these concerns seriously and implements immediate improvements, particularly in soundproofing, staff responsiveness, and meal quality, to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay. At this time, we cannot recommend this property until significant improvements are made.
