The service is good and the staff are really welcoming and respectful. The room is clean and it is comfortable to stay.

Ordered food was not up to expectations. Beef Gyudon became stir fry beef. Not complete amenities, no trash can, no towels, no blanket upon entering room. And the worst part, our room got changed from deluxe room that’s already paid, into regular drive in room without any heads up or giving us any options.

It has sex hotel vibes, but good location, very quiet and dark rooms good to sleep. Also perfectly clean, apart from the window.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had hot water, which was nice. The room had no window, but it was okay for a short stay. It was a bit funny that the door didn’t really close properly, but honestly it didn’t bother me much. In general, a decent place to stay in Cagayan de Oro. Sa pangkalahatan, okay naman ang hotel para sa presyo nito. Mabait at matulungin ang staff, at may mainit na tubig ang kuwarto na malaking plus. Wala lang bintana ang kuwarto, pero ayos lang para sa maikling pananatili. Medyo nakakatawa lang na hindi masyadong nagsasara nang maayos ang pinto, pero hindi naman ito naging malaking problema para sa akin. Sa kabuuan, maayos naman itong matuluyan sa Cagayan de Oro.

We always check in with Hotel Sogo and this is the only branch that does not meet the standards of the company. The elevator smells like food, no aircon in the elevator lobby and even in the hotel lobby, there was no air freshener (or humidifier scent) as well that is distinct with Hotel Sogo. The staff are also dismissive if you don’t speak their dialect which is a bit sad because I know Bisaya people to be hospitable. We will just check in with another cheap hotel nearby when we go back. Sorry but we really got disappointed with this branch. Just sharing a picture of the taxi driver who accompanied us to Magnum.

My niece like the room and everything hope to book again soon.

Good staff nice room and nice location near at malls and restaurants
