You wish to visit the LOT Terre des Merveilles; this nicely decorated, quiet, very bright, very well equipped apartment, located on the banks of the LOT river and practically in the city center will be your home port. You are located 7 minutes walk from the town hall (city center). On its large terrace you can admire boating, the VALENTRE bridge and its night lights, but you can also have barbecue evenings. You will not be disturbed by the noise of vehicles, trains or planes but perhaps by the tumult of water on the pavement or the slight purring of the micro power plant. If you like walking, fishing, archaeological sites, old stones, cellars, underground caves, swimming, boating, sports and cultural activities, good small and large restaurants, all these activities will be within your reach . Closed parking and garage, easy to access at the foot of the secure residence. Free secure internet connection. Apartment well exposed, bright, well equipped. The integrated kitchen has a very large work surface treated antibacterial. A large air-conditioned living room opens directly onto the terrace. Both bedrooms have views of the Lot. The decoration has been neat. The bathroom is bright and pleasant. This apartment is located in CAHORS, one of the GREAT SITES OF OCCITANIA. It is a city of ART AND HISTORY; , labeled OUTSTANDING GARDEN by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, its gardens are very neat. CAHORS is at the crossroads going to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. The VALENTRE BRIDGE and the SAINT ETIENNE cathedral are listed in the UNESCO directory, don't wait any longer to come and discover them. Through its gastronomy, we can taste or discover the black truffle, foie gras, Cahors wine, little Rocamadour goat cheese, saffron, walnuts, Quercy lamb, pastis (cake) ... The discovery of the region can be done by different means of travel: - walking (collection of very many marked trails at your service); - bike or mountain bike - Hot air ballooning, promenade boat, cruise, small train, horse-drawn carriage. - Shuttles, bus, personal vehicle ... - Trains The deposit or security deposit is payable on arrival (returnable), either € 200 in cash or by check payable to France. Cleaning at the end of the stay is optional: 50 €, but automatically retained if the cleaning is not impeccable. Rental of bathroom linen € 5 per person, and household € 10 for the week. Holiday in Cahors The property was comfortable, and well located. I think the property could do with redecorating and the bathroom definately needs modernising. We had a very nice holiday

Lovely property. Very well appointed and within easy reach of the town and other attractions e.g. Pont de Valentre. We hadn’t appreciated that our view was a little spoilt by being opposite the pumping station but we were still able to see Pont de Valentre. Nelly and Alan were very helpful and accommodated our early morning departure.

Pont Valentre Great view of the famous bridge and convenient location at edge of town on the river, but accessible on foot to old heart of town. Apartment has every convenience and piece of equipment you can think of. Very comfortable. Rather a tight turning with no landing on the one flight of stairs - care needing to be taken for older guests, but manageable. Huge, wrap around balcony gave great sense of space and being outdoors. This balcony ran on to the next door balcony - very convenient for us as we wanted three sleeping spaces and so rented the two bedroom apartment and the one bedroom apartment but used them as one accessing through the balcony. Very convenient arrangement for three friends wanting our own spaces.. A very good stay.

Un séjour très agréable pour les amoureux de culture et de produits du terroir Idéalement situé à proximité du Pont Valentré (joyau de Cahors) et des caves de Malbec, l'appartement est spacieux et très bien équipé. Le box pour garer son véhicule est un plus dans une ville où de très nombreux stationnements sont payants.
