Gilligan‘s Backpackers Hotel & Resort

Overall, this hostel deserves 4 out of 5 stars. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the central location and the pleasant atmosphere. The common areas were also modern and comfortably designed. My only minor criticisms would be the noise at night and the somewhat small bathrooms in some rooms. Nevertheless, the stay was very enjoyable overall, and it offered good value for money.

Staying here was mainly for the convenient location – it's close to both Red Supermarket and Green Supermarket, making everyday life quite easy. There's also a weekend market nearby with lots of discounted fruits and vegetables. My only complaint is that the kitchen closes at 10 PM, which is really inconvenient. It would be much better if they extended it by an hour.

It was great!! It was very clean, and the toilet and shower were separate. Some rooms even had a large balcony! It wasn't as noisy as I expected.

Excellent location for this large accommodation. It can get noisy due to the many guests and the entertainment at the pool and bar, but I absolutely loved it.

The hotel felt a bit old, but the location was super convenient, very close to the night market and shopping center! I'm not sure why they only provided a thin sheet and one blanket instead of a proper duvet like most hotels... The windows were old with a metal grill, and the bathroom wasn't a wet/dry separation.
