I arrived at Mumm'as for 3 night... and spent over a month there. I astonished by the poor reviews on tripadvisor, when I saw the latest where in 2023. A new manager and his team have taken over the hostel, and the previous comments and pictures are outdates. Here are a few reasons why it is by far the best hostel I have stayed in Australia: 1/ It is an extremely clean place (they clean common areas 3 times a day) 2/ The rooms are not packed to maximise space, so you don't feel squeezed in it. And big plus: all the beds have curtains so you can enjoy some privacy. 3/ The atmosphere in the hostel is so nice, people are friendly and open. it is not a party hostel, so for those who are light sleepers (like me) you can enjoy peacefull night. 4/ Last and foremost, the Mumma's team is ever so friendly welcoming and makes you feel at home. Thank you Jackie , Brooke, Thomas, and the one and only Mumma's Mum Camille. You are the best!
