Bohemia Resort Cairns

It's not a hotel, it's not a resort. And an ordinary roadside motel, with appropriate conditions. Positive: there is a door, walls, a bed. That's all. Negative: for 13 days of stay, no one cleaned the room, although it was stated that there would be cleaning for more than a week of stay. There is no Internet not in the room, not in the common areas, the hotel staff every day said what they would do now, but nothing works. There is no soundproofing, if someone knocked or entered the door opposite, it feels like they are coming into your room. During the stay, they decided to treat my room from insects. Loud sounds from water pipes. Uncontrolled guests who behave very badly, and no one makes a remark to them.

There were cockroaches everywhere, including on one of the beds and crawling on the walls. On top of that, there was constant noise from people shouting and talking loudly until late at night, including children.

That was lovely place!🌺💆🏻♀️😊 We love it. Very affordable! There is a pool as well. Very close to fast food and petrol station. Also just 5 mins away from the airport. ✈️

First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there

Lady at desk very helpful and welcoming allowed us to park in employee spot, was a bit disappointed with the room a bit small no where to put cases, hanging spot was above bed, bathroom tiles in shower grouting needed to be replaced toilet seat was plastic and was peeling  but all  in all a lovely stay

Great for the price. A little run down however you can see they're working on that. I've got 0 regret

Good place just for sleep no for spend time there. Bathroom and toilets aren’t very clean and the floor is every time wait for no reason.
