Swiss Inn Nile Hotel

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. My colleagues like it very much and will choose this hotel again when traveling to Egypt for business in the future. I hope the price will be more favorable and suitable for our expenses.
Amarante Pyramids Hotel

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. She was very proffesional, helpfull and made our stay comfortable.
Hotel Novotel Cairo El Borg
4.1/546 Reviews
The hotel is small with a small swimming pool, a small lobby, a main restaurant on the ground floor, and a restaurant in the roof with a wonderful view of the Nile, which is the most beautiful, and the other side overlooks the Cairo Tower. The best location is next to the Qasr El Nil Bridge and Gezira Park, where boat rentals and horse carriage rides. Staff are friendly but upon arrival I was not received properly and there was no cooperation at checkout time. Breakfast was good but there is no variety and does not include fruit. Overall the service is excellent for a 4 star hotel, I got what I expected.
Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah

The location is perfect by the Nile River. The staff are very warm and friendly. The atmosphere is much better than the Ritz-Carlton where we stayed before. Especially the way into the hotel, I felt like a small French-style kingdom, isolated from the chaos outside. Got it
City Palace Hotel
3.2/528 Reviews
Located by the side of Tahrir Square, this hotel is comfortable, my room was in third floor, the elevator is functional, and the staff are a bit over active. WiFi is functional, breakfast is quite limited and not much choice, even for fruit juice, one has to pay extra, corridors were full of debris and dismantled doors and windows. One can stay for a few days. Advantages of this place are important places like the Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square, shops and eateries around. I particularly enjoyed a hot cup of tea just in front of the hotel early in the morning also leisurely walk.
Cecilia Hostel
3.9/543 Reviews
Me and my girlfriend are travelling to Egypt and after being told by our originally booked hotel that out room was not available anymore (upon landing in Cairo) we have been given the lastminute choice to stay at Cecilia hotel by Booking.com. Luckily the destiny has done things right!! Attentive and very friendly people run this little hotel in Cairo downtown, close to centre, museums, shops, restaurants, cafe in a very safe area to go around in couple or solo. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and breakfast with a beautiful terrace where to spend the evening drinking something and meeting new people. Room was clean and good for 2 star hotel. Absolutely recommended and will come back!
