Great hotel, reasonably priced for the location and quality of room and service.
Breakfast is good value with a very large spread (although quality of some of the food on offer could be better)
Will definitely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel five times. Family for the location the fact that it has a swimming pool. Food here for breakfast was not too good because it upset my stomach. I like the staff the rooms are good but some of the views are just terrible. Views of Rocky vacant lots. If you can get a view of the Egyptian museum or the pool. The views can some time kind of depress me. this hotel has a swimming pool and a gym and after a day and Cairo you need to kind of decompress in a pool. I would stay here again this is my go-to hotel in Cairo. I paid $125 a night including taxes with breakfast. Not crazy about breakfast so be careful what you eat.

Our second Steigenberger Hotel and second satisfaction, thank you. Great Hotel, Great Breakfast and Great Team !
The hotel made our stay in Cairo very comfortable. The place is cozy but fairly enough - except for the pool which is 120cm deep and rather small, near a busy road.
The team is working hard to ensure the great service. The location in the heart of Downtown between the Airport and Pyramids/near the Museum is strategically good. The room is always stable - cleaning at a high level.

Hotel location is great, breakfast is good, room is nice. However, there are some issues. The rooms have no openable windows, there is always a strong smell of air freshener which can’t be vented. Services are generally good, but there are some girls in the canteen pressurising for reviews after some average service while others silently work hard doing the services. 4 of us tried to play cards in the open area beside the pool as the room is stuffed with air freshener smells, but unfortunately we were asked to leave and do it in our own room. It ruined our experience a bit after otherwise a nice stay.
