Dahab Hostel

I wish I had found this hostel before two terrible tries with a filthy Airbnb and a small hotel with a scam artist receptionist. I’ll be back here. The rooftop location is cool and it has real hostel vibes with a guitar and area to hang out, which people do. Offers tours, which are a little overpriced but the convenience of them organizing everything so you can just relax is worth it. I mean, spending hours to find something $20 cheaper isn’t worth it to me. They’ll wash your clothes, hallelujah! I saw them helping a younger guy without a smart phone, to call Ubers for him so he wouldn’t get scammed by taxis … all around great experience with helpful staff.
Museum Plaza Hostel

The location is really central, right opposite the Egypt Museum and can be found easily on Uber. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the hospitality of the owners who were always willing to help and chat with us about what we needed or where we wanted to go. Very appreciative of them for that! The room is comfortable enough with working AC and good size bathroom, but be prepared for the noise of traffic from outside as it’s close to a main road. Wifi also didn’t connect well in our room but maybe better for others. Breakfast is simple and more Egyptian/Arabic in style with pita, falafel, cheese and eggs + juice box.

Isis Hostel 2

Stop at the hotel for just one night before leaving Moscow. The hotel chose on the principle of proximity to Tahrir and GoBus stop, as we arrived in the evening and Hurghada. From stop to the hotel reached a walking minute for 5 with bags and a child of 5 years. We were already waiting for the resepshen and immediately registered and held in the room. The room gave 4 local instead of 3 local(which I booked) angle with a stunning (not forget it is 2 stars) view of the city and the river. The room corresponds to the photo from the site, quite spacious and clean. What surprised was that there was no towel and toilet paper (generally) the husband went to the recipe, the towel one gave, and they didn't have paper. Windows open, there is air conditioning and refrigerator, there is noise from Tahrir, but I expected it, it transmits the color of Cairo. In the morning, breakfast was included :bucs+melted raw raw materials+ jem + 2 eggs per person and coffee/tea for choice. We were asked for breakfast what we plan to do the afternoon, we said we plan to just walk and leave the bags until 10 p.m. to go to the airport. And we were offered to extend the room for free until the evening! We even lost, thought about and asked if it was free. As a result it turned out very convenient, we returned to the hotel at 7 p.m. and had a little time to sleep before leaving. The good attitude of the hotel staff was pleasant, before that they lived in hotels 4-5 stars in Hurghada and there you do not feel as welcome as here. If we find ourselves in Cairo again, we will come here.
