Crystal Paraiso Verde Resort & Spa - Ultimate All Inclusive

We arrived at the hotel late on Wednesday night . We were shown to the late restaurant for food after travelling all day . We chose chicken basket which arrived burnt and cold it consisted of chicken nuggets onion rings and fries we didn’t eat it . I have enclosed pictures . When we were told where our room was I enquired if there was a possibility of a ground floor but the reception told us we had a better room on the first floor ! I dread to think What the other room looked like ! The hotel is advertised and sold as a 5 star all inclusive resort and spa ! We booked with easy jet who I have valued in the past . Our room was filthy on arrival , the mini bar fridge was empty and there was no tea or coffee milk or sugar in the room. There is no way of contacting reception from the room as the phone doesn’t work so we had to go down to reception to ask fur the basics , including water to get us through the night . Reception staff are rude in fact I have only met 2 pleasant staff since being here . The first day we didn’t use the room clean as we were not settled and still tired from our late arrival . We took our time to get orientated . To be honest the whole place looks like council estate flats ( I have no problem with council estates I grew up on one ) just trying to paint a picture. The pool area is okay, although not cleaned regularly and never any knifes and forks to eat . This is where you’ll find the better food . Again don’t be fooled into thinking it’s good it’s just better than the restaurant . Do be careful of the chicken though I’ve enclosed a picture of the raw chicken we were served ! The drink choice is minimal , you cannot help yourself to coffee for instance and have to queue for it . With a load of others as there is only one coffee machine serving the whole restaurant . Again orange juice is not self service you have to queue for this too . There is not her choice either no apple juice available . The food is disgusting , not much choice , either pasta or pizza , burgers and a range of concealed cheeses , chicken dishes and desserts . If you’re lucky you may get some fresh fish in the outside area but I’ve only managed to get that once . The butter is off and smells like gone off milk . I could go on and on but you get the picture . Back to the rooms the shower floods every time you get in it so you have to have a very quick shower and then partner has to wait for theirs as if you kept short running it would flood . There are no top sheets on the beds so you have to sleep with the blanket straight on you which personally I don’t like . I think any 4 star plus hotel would have this as a basic . There is a quiet adult only pool , however the only drinks served there are Coke Zero water and beer . The hotel is in the middle of nowhere which is fine but be prepared and bring thins with you as there is only one small market that sells things like cigarettes and drinks close by . Terrible. In a shocking state of disrepair and filthy. Room was terrible - really dirty, room service only twice, maintenance shocking with furniture falling to bits. Pool and bar in terrible states - windows broken, broken tiles. Nothing cleaned - appeared ever. Cat excrement everywhere. No wifi at all. Restaurant a health hazard. This isn't anywhere close to 5*. Staff rude. Services not as advertised - pool flumes shut most of the day, amusements shut our entire duration, no 24hr dining, extremely limited wifi. Complaint was submitted, and the response bizarre and non in relation to my evidence whatsoever. Go elsewhere.

The place is filthy!! See all the photos. Some are from my partners review, some are mine. I couldn’t belive the state of it. I had to change rooms due to broken air con. Mould. Wet plaster on the floor. Leak on the ceiling and the noise from upstairs flushing the toilet was over bearing! This was the same in both rooms The second, had a broken bed and stained mattresses and sheets. The bars stunk. Stale beer and sour milk smell. The pool side drains are black and green and smell awful. The rubbish and dirty laundry is everywhere. The theatre, is in disrepair. The photos advertising the place ARE NOT what it looks like. Not catered for English either. The stairs to the water slides are ridiculous. See photos. It’s pure filth. Glad to be home.

Some aspects of the hotel were exceptional, some left something to be desired. The good sides include: * The hotel spa and the crew members there. Aneta, the manager was a blessing during our stay and changed our view on the stay by 180 degrees. Besides of setting up the massage sessions for my wife and a child (which they had appreciated a lot), she welcomed us and made us feel like at home. My child has suffered from abdominal distention and after a few sessions with Ali, the physiotherapist, the problem has disappeared - thank you very much for that! * food is excellent and there is always too much to choose from. You will never never get hungry there an if you do, there's 24h service available; * there's plenty of attractions for families with kids; * a hotel-owned tractor taxi taking you to a private beach is a well appreciated mean of transport to get you to the beach quickly, where you can benefit from the same services as at the main object We encountered a few issues during the stay as well, which need to be mentioned: * communication barriers - the staff does not speak English and understands straightforward orders only. Some of the staff crew members communicate in russian, however it was not much of a use for myself. * the room which we were led into had the sheets changed, but the floor was super dirty like they have forgotten to do the basic preparation for the new guests. The shower drain was clogged and the intervention from the hotel was needed - obviously I had to leave a tip for something that shouldn't be a thing. * the entertainment part of the offering - evening parties, concerts, shows and anything to be organized for children targets a russian guest. The shows are conducted in russian mostly, while if by any chance the MCs decide to reach to other guests in a language they know (thinking of English at least), their speech is inferior in comparison to what they say in russian.

Everything is awesome the pool food's the personals. Music is great. And (Guest Relations team) is awesome they are all good and solving all the problems. Rooms are cleaning everyday. Sparrow bar is also nice. They give us a great room we loved it...
