Hôtel Résidence du Golf

Location: Highly praised for its proximity to the beach, ferry terminal, and Channel Tunnel, with easy access to walking paths and parking.

Stayed before so had an idea what to expect. You have a kitchenette with no means to use it. No pots or pans, knives or forks, no plates etc so we took our own for a 2 night stay. Good points *The heater was good and got very warm in the room. * Great location. *the have reception on site now so you don’t have to check in at hotel de la Plage *reception friendly Bad points: *They gave us 2 espresso cups and 2 saches of coffee total for 2 people for a 2 night stay? *Beds rock hard *Noise from the restaurant was ridiculous. *No English channels on tv *Shower filthy. Come kinds of lumps of mud appeared after switching it on. *I didn’t appreciate another guest waiting in reception to ask me for money. They had obviously already asked reception who obviously didn’t want to help, but who were only too happy to encourage him to ask me and encourage me to give it. It was a really uncomfortable situation. I stayed locked in my room for the next hour because I was worried about being caught again. He had “English” notes but wanted me to order him food and he would pay me English! Couldn’t reception do that then take money to be exchanged? I usually stay at hotel de la place so will probably revert back to there! The money thing really tainted our stay.
