Booked a last minute break for five days in October, arrived in resort I spotted a hotel on the cliffside which has a similar name, unfortunately was not that one. Arrived and was swiftly checked in was told staying in a garden room, and the room and block numbers make no sense. Finally entered our room it was basic but spacious on further inspection like all aspects of this hotel it’s very tired needs a refurb. Plenty of wardrobe space, no fridge or tea/coffee facilities which you would expect. The rooms were very cold and the air con/heating just did not work. I think the hotels strength is the pool area and entertainment. But the restaurant is dated and the food is at best a good standard school dinner affair. Often warm NEVER hot, and the menu is typically Spanish with some odd combinations. Peas at breakfast?? The main is either fish and plenty of pork or chicken legs, drumsticks and wings the cheaper cuts. The staff do not look happy that they have a job from reception to restaurant to bar staff and cleaning staff. Whilst the room maid cleaned, the hotel was littered with plastic drinking tumblers from the night before, not a pretty sight in the morning. Hotel management please address this residents do not want to see this employee more staff to deal with it. I would say it’s a low 3 star and seriously hanging onto this . The resort and hotel location is not for the infirm as a long walk to any bars shops and restaurants. I would say not for the young person more suited for families and older couples who like to stay in the hotel grounds. Overall I’m glad I paid last minute and would have been disappointed to pay full price would I return to this resort or hotel ?? NO sorry it’s a no from me….
