Firstly I would like to mention some of the staff who went out of their way were customer service was concerned:- Pablo at reception, Jana, Laura and Juan-Antonio at the bar, Alex (entertainment) and Jesus in the restaurant. I travel a lot but this was one of my best experiences. The hotel is spotlessly clean and my room 804 had a great sea view. There was always lots of choice in the restaurant and the quality of the food was great. As it was the end of the season there was not a lot of entertainment but Alex who was on his own went out of his way to make all that was provided enjoyable. I had breakfast every morning then went for a walk- turn right out of the hotel front door and the path leads to steps down to the beach which then leads to the path along the cliff- just beautiful! I used the public bus on 2 occasions and travelled to Porto Cristo and Cala D’Or- the bus stop is located close to the hotel beside the shops. Thanks to all at the hotel.

Been to this hotel back in 2019. This hotel is kept spotless every day all the staff work very hard from the cleaners to the chefs and bar staff. The food was good in the first week then in the second week it changed they seem to repeat some of the dishes from dinner time to the evening meals. My room was nice a view of the shops and u could see the sea in the background I had fresh towels every day and the bed was made and room cleaned. Downside was the French entertainment team the activities in day time they use to walk past people from the Uk. Evening entertainment was hit or miss when I was here back in 2019 the entertainment was alot better a different entertainment team back then. The area is nice with shops and restaurants just across the road from the hotel. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel where u can do boat trips. Would I return to this hotel yes I would but go a week earlier so not so near the end of season I've also been to the globales America hotel which is down the road another nice hotel right on the seafront. I travelled with Jet2 which kept me upto date with coach pick up times from airport and the journey back to the airport also the hotel had a Jet2 rep for any problems or to book trips

Grown up family (dad, son, daughter) & we stayed for just under a week late August 2024. Arrived quite late (01:00 am) but Javier on reception checked us in efficiently & even drink & food was available (which was very welcome!) Room was on the 6th floor (street side) which gave amazing sea views throughout the day. Our room had been basically converted into a triple room, everything clean & tidy plus housekeeping was done daily. No kitchenette facilities but bear in mind that this is a n all-inclusive hotel. Bring a travel kettle! Always plenty to eat & drink in the main restaurant (sitting out on the restaurant terrace is amazing) & the poolside snack bar is exceptional! Main bar is by the pool area & the all-inclusive drinks are quite varied (checkout the drinks menu on the bar counter). The daily signature cocktail is 5 euros which we went for as a treat each evening. Pool area is clean & tidy plus if you get down there in the morning handy (we used to land about 10:00 am) there are PLENTY OF SUNBEDS AVAILABLE! Animation team work very hard all day/evening but are never in your face. Do be aware that the hotel's clientele tend to be French/Italian. This didn't bother me at all as I've worked many years for a major French company. Entertainment laid on every evening and the music night the animation did on our final night was hysterically funny (even to us Brits) There's also not a lot outside the hotel (few bars & shops) but the nearby beach (accessed from the rear of the hotel) is very nice with a beach snack bar close by. We were quite lazy on this holiday as I've seen on YouTube there is plenty more to explore :-) Only slight quibble with the entire holiday was the lifts (one was out of action) but we simply used the stairs to burn off the calories! Overall we had a brilliant time at Globales Samoa & enjoyed it that much that I cancelled next year's holiday to Turkey & have rebooked the Samoa for next year!

Very clean. Carlos, on reception, was great Comfy bed... Good daytime entertainment Evening entertainment more for French, Spanish . Food could be a little repetitive. Lifts are awful, only two and very slow. But we did enjoy our holiday.

We have returned to this hotel after 12 years. Unfortunately, for the third time, we'll probably choose another hotel. We had a room on the street on the sixth floor, very loud music from the bar across the street by midnight, there was no sleep. Food good, very often the same, but we chose. The dining room is nicely designed, newly and sitting outside on a terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. We were surprised by the nice beep for beer and wine, when people turn themselves in at lunch and dinner. I don't know why the bar didn't work next to the dining room, there were big queues at the pool side bar in the evening. The rooms are nice all the time, but the parents had a broken bed and didn't open the balcony door.Cleaning not much. Just hastily swabbed, towels delivered and nothing more. We had to request toilet paper. At the reception very helpful and nice people, in the dining room and on the bar all very hardworking and quick. I was also pleased with the offer of renting bikes and electric bikes at the reception. The bay is still beautiful and clean.

Overall a nice hotel. The room is nice and clean and the bathroom is spotless. The bed is really comfy. The staff at front of house were always helpful and polite. The waiters and bar staff again were polite. Overall a comfortable, friendly, nice hotel. I would say perhaps more French and spanish guests, hence why food is more catered to the French. However I could always find something I wanted to eat. The food was ok, but became a bit repetitive, but that is because I mainly ate the same things to stick to what I like. Was always the options of rice and chips daily, then would be a selection of meats on different days aswell as wide range of selection on the salad bar. The desserts were often the same daily, which were the same selection of cakes. The chicken one night wasn't cooked enough for me, so stayed away from meats thereafter. There is a food snack bar open during the day for a few hours which can help yourself to pizza, burgers which i found was good. Was mixed guests really, older couples, few families with children. I liked that it weren't overly busy at the beginning of May, meant the pool area was relaxed. The que to the bars were not long at all, was served very quickly and it's a plus that there is a self serve hot drink machine and cold drink. The hotel was very close to the beach which was good. There was entertainment in the hotel which I didn't really bother with, however looked ok when passing. The schedule is written in french so I didn't know what each was and had to translate on my phone.

If you're looking for a retirement holiday then this hotel is the place to go. Not for families with young children at all. A lot of French and Spanish OAPs. Can't fault the hotel as it's beautiful and very clean but it's very much catered for the French and the older generation. No English food (apart from chips) at meal times. We saw a lot of Brits walk in and then straight back out again. We had to go out of the hotel for food every night as nothing looked appealing. Not ideal as we paid for all-inclusive. There was a lot of fish, veal, venison and undercooked pork. The snack bar was basic and was the same every day but was edible. We are not a fussy family even something simple like a spag bowl would have been nice. Pablo at reception is amazing. If you need/want anything he's the man to go to. The evening entertainment was appalling which made it comical. 30 mins mini disco for the kids again it's the same every night. Just dancing on the stage to the same boring music. Even the adult entertainment was rubbish. If you're a pensioner then you'd probably be satisfied. All the entertainment is inside as the old people complain about it being too cold outside in the evening. No kids club during the day either. I found everything starts late as well. Dinner doesn't open until 7.30pm shuts at 10pm. Kids entertainment starts at 9pm and adult entertainment at 10pm. These are just the faults I found with this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The pool is well maintained. Rooms are cleaned every day. I've been to this hotel around 6 times now but this visit was my first in about 10 years. A lot has changed and not for the better. I will not be returning

Overall an average 3 star hotel. As previous reviews have said, very much geared up towards French/german visitors. The room is pretty basic, please note no tea/coffee facilities or fridge. I believe these can be hired. This was a shame as the previous Globales (Mediterrani - Menorca) we stayed in have had these as standard. The food was not the best, breakfast was the best meal of the day. We ate out more than once just to get a good meal. Kids might struggle with the lack of choice unless they want stews and fish every day. The lift situation was definitely problematic. Only one working lift and very long waits to use. The hotel was busy even though it was October. We were on the 5th floor with great views of the sea, pools, mountains. Plenty of sun beds. It’s very well kept and very clean. The staff are friendly, cleaners do a great job. You can basically choose as and when you want clean towels and sheets. A great idea to be better for the environment. All inclusive drinks were absolutely fine. Plenty of choice. The location is good, close to shops and bars etc. Short walk to the beach and nice walks in the area. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. Lots of steps. Overall a nice holiday and a much needed break!
