Hotel Sena
"Arrived after a long walk. The staff were OK. The lift up to our room was incredibly slow and tiny. Our room was clean and reasonably comfortable. We went to the pool, which was disappointing. Most of the beds were broken, and there were no pads. So they were very uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the pool was cold and refreshing. The restaurant did not look appealing, so we decided to eat in the town - a short walk away. I think this hotel had been something in its day. It was vast but needed some TLC and updating. Breakfast the next morning was excellent."
Harpazul
"Excellent service, interesting design and fully digitalised checkin. Do not try to open. Register via whatsapp and use the codes. It is easy. I enjoyed my stay. Spacious and nice rooms. Hotel is owned by famous musician Roi Casal, I found it on the next morning. My recommendation! "
Albergue As Pozas Termais
"1. The hostel have about 22+ beds and only 1 male and 1 female bathroom. The cleanliness is bad due to high usage. 2. Hostel forced people do not bring bag and shoes into the dorm, however the cabinets they provide are smaller than normal backpack, 70% stay outside like refugee camp. 3. Shoes rack or not enough for forcing all people to leave shoes out 4. Very unprofessional non English speaking staff, very rude"
Hotel Roquiño
"Turned up absolutely soaking wet after a long walk. The lady on reception was really friendly, explained how to order the breakfast and all about the area and where I could find some areas of interest the next day on my rest day. My room was beautifully clean and decorated with a really comfortable bed and a very powerful hot shower. I really took the time to relax and visit the thermal springs to soothe my aching feet. The breakfast was lovely. You get to select what you would like for breakfast the next day. The table is laid out for you when you arrive. Freshly cut fruit, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, pastries and freshly squeezed juice. I had a really wonderful, relaxing stay which set me up for the next couple of legs of the Camino. Would highly recommend."
Motel Caldas
Balneario Acuña
"I stayed here during my camino both this year and last. It is such a beautiful hotel and the rooms are amazing! After a long day of walking it is such a pleasure to check in and treat yourself to the beautiful pool and comfortable bed. The front desk staff is incredible and they do everything possible to make sure you have a 5 star experience! Thank you for another incredible visit! I hope to see you again next year!"
Torre do Rio
"I can’t say enough about how unbelievable this experience was. The grounds of the property are insane, from the wrap around view of the river, the natural pool, the numerous places to relax and beautiful interiors, it’s all amazing! The staff are phenomenal and even offered laundry service to have our clothes ready to go by early the next morning! Dinner and breakfast were excellent! If you are visiting the area or walking the Camiño this is a must stay!!"
Villa Galicia
"It's a beautiful, peaceful place with a spectacular garden and pool. The rooms are just like the photos, with great mattresses for relaxing. You can book breakfast at an available time, as the peace and relaxation you find here is what characterizes this place. By booking breakfast, I avoided any stress. I always checked availability with the staff beforehand, who were professional and extremely welcoming, helping me with everything I needed. It was definitely a luxurious place at a spectacular price that would be triple the price anywhere abroad. A wonderful experience."
Hotel A Casa Do Rio
"not a 5 minute walk off the caminho your met by quite a lovely hotel over the road from the river.simple check in,friendly staff who offered breakfast for euros 10,lifts to all floors. my room in the loft was very large and despite the sloping ceilings it had just about everything to make for a comfortable stay and it was facing the river which added to it.having said that, considering what i paid it wasn't what i would call value for money."
