"B****lona is far from the center, but if your aim is to have a seaside holiday, being within walking distance to the sea and having a pool is nice. It is the most affordable place in that area. Since the hotel is preferred by young people, noise is of course inevitable. Breakfast had a variety of meat and nothing was missing. I think it is impossible to find this much opportunity for this price."

The cleaning staff cleaned and made our bed every day and I had no complains! They were very helpful when we came to ask about transportation. "Very helpful Staff ,, but Not enough staff working.. food very disappointing especially breakfast at €18 per person , great selection of fresh fruits but hot meat options very greasy unable to eat …everyday just cooked and left in a mountain of fat .. dirty cups .. but this is a Smokers Hotel .. everywhere Guests were smoking in all outside areas including close to the restaurant and lobby and all Pools area .. if your outside you will be inhaling someone s ‘ smoke .. the spa was closed for the week we were there , no reason giving so can’t make a comment was planning on booking treatments.. if you booking this hotel for spa you need to confirm if it’s open .. out bedroom was lovely .. WiFi is limited.. poor reception/ speed throughout the Hotel.."

"Just returned from a 4day stay at this apart hotel didn’t really know what to expect as this is only rated as a 2star. I can say that we we’re pleasantly surprised at how clean the whole hotel was 😁 room was spotless and catered for all our needs 👍 Staff were lovely especially in the restaurant attached to the hotel( which you get 10% off food and drink) The pool was lovely for a cool dip and mostly had this to ourselves(sun-beds were hard to lie on so we just bought a blowup lilo which did the trick) beach 5 minute walk away sun-bed and parasol sunshade 8Euros per person for the whole day at The Blue Bar Calella its self is still very Spanish which was lovely to see and the old town with the church and the town square(5/7 minutes walk) was a great place to sit and people watch with a coffee. We will definitely worth a visit for a short break."

"Stayed in a seaview room with my sister. Staff were welcoming & pleasant on arrival and throughout our stay. Room was clean although dated & beds comfortable. There was a flimsy adjoining door to the next room which we were not advised of on arrival, and it was only secured with a small slide bolt, and light from the room next door was visible all around the door frame nighttime. There was no telephone in the room so no way to contact reception had we needed to. It was obvious that a considerable amount of refugees were staying at the hotel but we found them to be respectful & courteous throughout our stay. It's a pity the hotel didn't offer them facilities such as a lounge with amenities so they didn't have to congregate on benches outside the hotel front during the day & late into the evenings as they probably didn't have monies to spend on recreation. Would we return? Only if we were assured a more modern seaview room with telephone."

"We stayed here from 07/09/24 - 14/09/24. Had a great stay at Hotel Espanya. Was our first trip away on our own, without kids, for 21 years, and this hotel made it all the more special. The hotel itself, has a great location, close to the beach (3 minute walk), train station on a 5 minute walk, and just around the corner from the main shopping area. Great location for couples and those who want a more laid back break, no larger louts, or party animals at this location. The hotel itself, is a nice peaceful hotel, popular with both young and older guests. The room we had was very clean, but basic, consisting of twin beds, pushed together, table, bedside units, air con, bath and shower, and small balcony, tv and hair dryer. We were happy enough. The restaurant, dining area was large, with plenty to chose from. We chose half board, (breakfast and dinner), and there was always a great selection of fruit, salads, cereals, bakery (wonderful), cooked meals, always something different to choose from, juices, and tea and coffee, you can also choose from drinks at the bar, to go with your dinner. The bar had a great selection of drinks, and they always offered a special discount different cocktail every night, at a cost of 6 euros. You had the choice to sit inside, or in the beer garden. There was an Argentinian guy who comes and performs with a guitar and singing, every Saturday night. He has a great selection of music, and always gets the audience to participate with him, and has a karaoke screen available . Fantastic entertainment. A special mention to all the staff, who were so so friendly, including those who were always keeping the place clean. Rooms were cleaned every day, and towels always changed too. A special mention to the Barman, who's name I forgot. Anna, who seemed to do every job available , and was always there from morning to night, and Ariana, on reception, who was so friendly, and also the other reception staff. Also forgot to mention, you can get beach towels and parasol, for the beach, at no extra cost, from reception. They ask for a card number, for security,the first time you ask for the towels, but no cost taken. You can also rent sun loungers, and parasol for two, at a cost of 14 euros. They give you a ticket to give to the guy on the beach, that organised the loungers. He wasn't very pleasant, to be honest, even though we tried to be pleasant to him. Don't think he has anything to do with the hotel itself. Also the beach bar Xiri 9 opposite the hotel, was also a joy, great selection of food, and drinks and cocktails galore, to get refreshed on the warm day. All and all, a great holiday, at a great hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel, and will no doubt be back again. Thank you 30 Degrees Hotel Espanya"

"Apartments are great, everything you need and clean. No balcony just a little step outside the sliding doors. We didn't know we would have to pay 100 euros deposit then the hotel decides if its clean enough when you leave before they return it. We asked for clean towels and were told no, they change them every 3 days. You get to use the hotel pool, roof top pool is amazing. Most of the staff were pleasant. Overall a good stay"

"We are just on our way to the airport following our stay and enjoyed our stay that much that I needed to leave a review before even lifting off on our flight. The staff are generally excellent, friendly and speak very good English. The manager was amazing and looked to make sure his guests were all happy and satisfied. One barman was a little dismissive on one of the days, but excellent the rest of the time so I put this down to him just having an off day like we all do sometimes. One of the young barmen even gave us a lift into town at the end of his shift after we asked what bars would be open late. Above and beyond. The all inclusive was excellent, plenty of options at almost all meal times, the snacks from the bar were tasty and filled your belly between mealtimes. The drink options were plentiful. Our room was cleaned daily, was spacious and mattresses were comfortable enough for myself, but a little on the firm side for my wife. Overall we had a great stay for our 5th wedding anniversary, not really anything to complain about whatsoever. We will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel!"
