The accommodation impresses with its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near the beach and harbor. Guests also enjoyed the comfortable beds and rooftop pool area. Good for families with food options nearby.

This hotel has some big maintenance issues but if it weren't for them it's a decent enough hotel for the money. The issues are the kids pool and pools on the 4th floor are out of order. Both of the ladies toilets round the pool are out of order (the hotel advise that there are others nearby which is fine if you don't mind using the disabled one or going into the building) one of the lifts for the 4th floor doesn't work. There are not enough sunbeds and they are worn out and uncomfortable, management claim they have plenty if you ask so why not just put them all out then?? Broken tiles round the pool, in the restaurant and on the stairs are sharp and dangerous. There are poor signs for the snack bar and when we got there the food was all cold but this did improve. Much of the crockery has large chips out of it. Our room was compact but comfortable and overlooked the pool area and was quiet. The hotel is very clean everywhere, the cleaners work tirelessly. We found the food to be ok. Plenty of choice at all mealtimes. Self service hot and cold drinks available all day.The pools are heated in the winter months which was lovely. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the coast line and shops/cafes, 10 minutes to beach which is huge. Entertainment was hit and miss.

Hotel is very clean, staff at reception will do anything to help and make your holiday good for you, the rooms are clean. Beds are very comfortable, bedding changed. Towels changed whenever you ask for them to be, the only thing the room lack is a kettle (which I took) and maybe a fridge, food not always hot but warm (there is a microwave) and very repetitive. The barstaff are very good making sure the holiday makers are served quickly with a Smile. I feel for the entertainment staff (but they are the best ) Rudie, Julie, Alessi, Justin, who was training and Rudie was amazing with her explaining everything to her, and praising her which was lovely yo see they could do with some new updated equipment and maybe a few more live entertainers (not there fault probably the entertainment budget) all for four of them are amazing with children would I ho again yes , very good location to the beach shops restaurants yhis was a lazy holiday doing nothing with afriend, try the Indian just up the road from the hotel, also the goose n lurking cafe in yhe square do a good English breakfast

Our first visit to the island and first time all inclusive for myself as we usually go self catering. Visited with my partner, his mum & sister. Room - we were lucky to be given two pool view rooms. We found them spacious, clean and beds were comfy. Balcony was large also. A little chilly on some nights but we asked for extra blankets which were brought up to our rooms. We did miss having a fridge but I suppose that’s normal for an all inclusive hotel? Shower over a bath which I actually preferred. A little dated but adequate for our needs. Staff & Entertainment- agree with previous reviewer that staff could’ve been a little friendlier at times. Entertainment was hit & miss, the layout of the tables in relation to the stage could’ve been better. Aretha show was great, the acrobat performance not so great. The music on was catered more towards European tastes. Food & Drink- good selection each day and could always find something to eat. It did seem like leftovers were used for the next sitting though at times. Great salad bar, choice of three freshly cooked/griddle options each evening (usually two meat and one fish) One night we had roasted lamb leg which was my favourite. Desserts were a bit of a let down and tasteless. Breakfast was ok but it’s definitely not proper bacon they serve. Vegetarians in our party really struggled at times with very little variety. Lots of drink options, house spirits and extra for named ones. Beer was good. Cocktails were generic from a machine very syrupy and far too sweet, had to add an extra shot of booze. All inclusive stops at 11pm and this is when the bar shuts also which is disappointing if you want a late drink (happy to pay after 11pm) Hotel- mainly lovely and clean. Some areas a little shabby, the entertainment area in particular. Pools that were open were a good size and not always heated. Sunbeds need replacing, they were sagging in the middle and you can’t change their position. Usual sunbed hoggers at play, actually saw someone go down in the dark at 6:30am for one The lift was very slow. Didn’t use the other facilities so can’t comment. It’s in a good location and near to everything. I do feel you get what you pay for, don’t expect 5 star luxury for this kind of price point. Overall we wouldn’t return as we didn’t really like Caleta. The whole place has a very ‘Brits abroad who need a roast dinner vibe’ which lots of people do like it’s just not for us and we found it a little boring. Bars mostly shut down around 11/12pm and the ones that do remain open are not really our kind of thing. Always like to leave honest reviews so I hope people find this useful

Really enjoyable week at this hotel and would definitely stay again. Some people give negative comments about this place but hey, you can't please everyone. Everywhere is clean and cleaners visit every day to do the rooms. Rooms are functional, roomy and shower is nice and warm. Pool area has plenty of beds but if you want to keep the sun try and get one on the side of the pool opposite reception. Staff are very friendly and if you tip the bar staff regularly, they will keep you well hydrated. Food was very good and plentiful with different meats cooked in front of you every night. The Chickpea stew was very nice. The hotel is also in a great location for bars and restaurants, just take a left or right and you can't go wrong. I recommend Hotspot by the police station for a few leisurely drinks through the day. A visit to Pieros Music Bar is also a recommendation.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it’s only a few minutes walk into the Centre. Caleta is quite a small area. We walked from the hotel down to the Marina on the sidewalk then followed it round and went to the open air market (Tues and Saturday) then walked back down through Caleta. It was just two miles. Having read previous reviews we always go with an open mind. It was good to see that they had ensured the heated pool was working and I can say it was the best heated one I’ve been in. We are fussy eaters and as soon as the restaurant opened we would go in. In my opinion the food was poor to average with it being cold to Luke warm and it had just opened. We chose to eat out in the evening and had amazing reasonable food at FADO ROCK. My wife was disappointed that they didn’t cook omelettes every day. It was every third day which was a bit bizarre. Especially as the Chef was cooking fried eggs every day. In the Dining Room there were 3 broken tiles in one area near the toaster that were a trip hazard. We witnessed a couple of people tripping over that area. The Adult roof area was spacious and quiet. We were very disappointed that both pools on the roof were still not working. When I read the reviews back I noticed it was reported in early December. I am sure the Management are doing their best to improve standards.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some earlier reviews, but needn't have been. Yes there a few things that need attention , but few hotels are 100% perfect. We checked in around 9.30 pm and was given a carrier with sandwiches, biscuits, fruit and water a nice little touch. Our bedroom seemed to have been recently decorated , as did the corridors, and public rooms. We had decent sized bathroom with a newly fitted hairdryer, bath with shower over and plenty of storage. The bedroom was large with 2 single beds and a bedsetee if a third person was sharing. A large double wardrobe with safe (extra charge) and plenty of storage, extra pillows on duvets (not needed ). Dressing table with a large mirror , 2 bedside tables, plenty of sockets and flat screen TV ( this can be easily used without a remote using the toggle button in the power switch, the only English channel is BBC news) There was also a furnished balcony, with a clothes dryer. Two large pools downstairs with a small kiddies pool. You'll also find a kiddies club, games room, table tennis, darts and a pool table plus a gym and an indoor multi purpose sports court. Most of these have organised events / competitions if you want to take part , but there is no pushyness to do so. The usual towel ,brigade however seem to get up at silly o'clock to reserve the beds with the sun , and as usual the majority still have the towels on them at lunch time and the beds still unused. We spent our time when in the hotel, and not on the beach ( an easy 10 minutes walk ) or out and about, on the adults only room terrace, this has 2 pools one about 1/2 metre deep and the other more like a padding pool. There could do with being more sunbeds up there as they are soon taken, but we always seemed lucky and got a couple. You also find a few settees up there, toilets and a help your self bar. Soft drinks, juices, beer and wine , although while there the wine dispensers never worked, but that didn't bother us , the beer was nicely chilled. Be warned there is very little shelter up there and does get very hot, also a few people ignore the signs and take children up , although they soon advised by other guests that it is adults only. We had no problem with the food, for breakfast , there's cereals, meats, cheeses , yoghurt, salads , and everything you need for the full English. The eggs are freshly cooked, and omelette cooked to order. Obviously they have to cater for nationalities, so some scrabbled eggs had onions and peppers, and aswell as normal sausages there was hotdog sausages , and some mushrooms were cooked in garlic. Bit easily see this when choosing. The only complaint we heard , was only 1 toaster. We only had lunch 2 or 3 times, but there were salads, freshly cooked meat and fish, burgers sometimes, chicken nuggets chips etc , and Sunday they had a BBQ on the terrace. Evening meal consisted of salads, including different types like Russian salad, coleslaw, cheeses ,c
