Courtyard Calgary downtown experience was good. It was nice and clean. Also Good location is good.

Location strategic as there are fewer homeless people around compared with the 7th Avenue or core shopping area, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. It's near Chinatown too. I however do not particularly like this hotel as there's no kettle inside the room, air conditioning is rather strong and couldn't be adjusted except the temperature. Nothing to eat nearby and the restaurant on 2/F requires booking. The hotel doesn't have a character itself. Most ridiculous is that they require a security deposit by really debiting my credit card upon my checkin (usually hotels won't present the card for similar deposit as security).

The hotel service was great. Staff were nice. The environment was clean. Only thing to improve is the lack of toothbrushing package and slippers.

Clean and comfy room with contemporary design, we had an enjoyable stay there.

It's a very new hotel and location is great. Will come to stay again.

We went to Yellowknife to see the Northern Lights and stayed in Calgary for two days for shopping. The hotel is on the main street and behind it is The CORE Shopping Centre, which is very convenient for shopping. The hotel is relatively new and cost-effective. The front desk was very nice and recommended a popular steak restaurant in Calgary to us. After dinner, they also brought us several bottles of water to the room.

The room was clean and the front desk was very friendly.

Convenient location I arrived at the hotel early and planned to drop off my luggage first and check in later. But the staff was very nice and tried their best to arrange a room for me.
