We had a great time in this beautiful wine estate south of Pavia looking out over the vine covered countryside and hilltop villages to the south. We stayed in one of the suites, furnished with antiques, with its own terrace area. The staff under Mara Pia and the owner Gigi are lovely and welcoming, We were really well looked after. We ate every well each evening with a four course meal with a choice of dishes, sampling the estate range of wines. There is a good swimming pool (much needed in the recent heat). A great place to relax. And a base to visit the nearby hilltop villages and towns such as Pavia and Piacenza. All a delight

Easter lunch with the family. We were very satisfied with both the quality and variety of the very well presented food. Top the crunchy nest appetizer and the sweet dark shell with creamy ricotta. Excellent service, very efficient and friendly waiters. Suggestive environment for furnishings and panoramic views of hills and vineyards. Highly recommended for both families and couples. We will definitely be back!

On the hills of Oltre Pò Pavese, this completely renovated ancient village appears at the end of a road. Few but charming rooms, some with references to old times gone by. The greenery and flowers fill your eyes. The swimming pool overlooking the valley allows you to spend quiet hours. Don't look for TV or Karaoke, you will only find silence, peace and at most the sounds of the ducks and donkeys in the morning and in the evening. We used the restaurant. An extra vote for the beautiful location, with a splendid view of the Montalto castle and Mornico Losana. The attempt is to rebuild a hilltop village, which results in a jumble of signs and objects of all types, none of which are relevant to the place. Plastic chargers, waiter who changes the wine glasses, switching from an acidic white to a structured red, only on request. Anonymous obligatory appetizers, insipid risotto, "cockerel with three Pepi" which looks like boiled chicken with baked potatoes. The bill, with two bottles of wine in 7 (local, not sophisticated cru), just under €50. Definitely unfavorable quality/price ratio, everything seems built to dazzle foreign tourists or citizens looking for countryside sensations. We won't be returning.

Unique place, welcoming from first glance. We had a very good lunch, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the view of the vineyards that the large windows offer. Simple food, made with care and seasonal ingredients. Excellent wine, of their own production. We will certainly return in the spring.

Beautiful location, the result of careful renovation, on the first hills of the Oltrepo Pavese. Good food, although we didn't agree with the fixed price formula, since some of us gave up more than one dish. The service was good, as has already happened in other places. I always find it in bad taste when the Owner entertains himself all evening with the table of the usual "known suspects", not gratifying the other Guests with even a very simple "Everything okay?"
