An excellent base from which to explore northern Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Viareggio are all short distance away). Few eateries in the area but all good. Nice breakfast, enchanting grounds (mosquitoes abound). Just lovely peaceful atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Amazing place surrounded by nature and old architecture. The rooms are very nice, good breakfast and lovely people working there. There is also a big swimming pool and garden, which makes it even better. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Really loved this wonderful little resort. The 2 owners are on site all the time and are very concerned with our experience. We stayed in the new apartments. And they are spacious and private. Grounds are amazing. Way off the beaten path so we had to drive a long way, but Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and Carrara are close by. Staff super helpful.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel where the staff cannot do enough for you. Beautiful gardens and really serene location in the countryside. Highly recommended.

A perfect and beautiful retreat in the mountains with very friendly and helpful owners and staff, beautiful poolarea, great restaurants close by and good bus connection to Lucca. I will definately return.

This is a beautiful hotel in lovely grounds near to all the local attractions, especially Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta. Also Pisa and Lucca. The Hotel is understated elegance and the owners attention perfect, not too involved and involved enough. All team attentive and excellent. Really relaxing and an oasis of calm within a small village with at walking distance local restaurants. For those that like the razzmatazz of a large centre this is semi rural and calm, something we loved. Will definitely return.

An idyllic retreat away from overcrowded touristic areas. Owner and staff are amazingly kind and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. The property has been gorgeously renovated and exudes a romantic, relaxing atmosphere. Only downside: no elevator, which is understandable, given the historic building, but a pain after a day out in summer heat.
