Beautiful building and lands.
But, I'm afraid that's where it ended for us.
When we booked there was 'restaurant' listed but when we asked about it we were sent to the bar area of the hotel which only did bar snacks - not what we were expecting at all. Luckily we found the Three Horseshoes across the road and although on the pricey side the meals were lovely. Breakfast was included in our two night package and the first day it was fine. The second morning was very poor. The coffee machine broke down and after someone tried to mend it and failed a pot of coffee was brought out which was soon emptied and taken away never to be seen again. The hot food was cold - not even mildly cold - and the times we had to ask for plates/bread/butter etc . . .
We also feel we should have been told before we booked that the hotel didn't have their heating on before November as we had to sit in our rooms in our coats for warmth.
