"This hotel should be very busy in the peak season. The hotel is located at the seaside of Cambrils, 300 meters away from the beach, very suitable for vacation."

"We have just got back from this hotel its location is 10 out of 10 perfect for the beach or pool. But sadly that's all it as going for it the staff are very rude the cleaning of the rooms is very poor the food is ok ,you can easily get a meal but I couldn't say it was poor or excellent either. The towel attendant round the pool is very aggressive and removes your towels from your sun beds even if you have only left them for a hour. This hotel could be outstanding but after upgrading to the sweet room we fould electricity wires coming out of the walls very poor lighting very out of date decor looked very basic and very bad cleaning of the room. I have to be honest the bathroom always was cleaned to a good standard. The dining room staff were mostly ok ,apart of the odd one or two who were very unpleasant regarding taking the children's pushchair in the dining room. The man who greeted you in to the restraunt was a very genuine and lovely young man a credit to the hotel. This hotel needs in my opinion needs updating and needs to focus on all nationalities not just spannish visitors, there was plenty of Dutch people who were very nice people in the hotel but found the children's mini club to focus mainly on the spannish visitors."

"One of our regular stops between our home in Spain and visiting friends in France. Always a good welcome from friendly staff. Good clean rooms and comfortable beds. We have recommended it to our friends who have also stayed here. Good onsite restaurant, fast food biased, but also a menu del dia at certain times. Good breakfast."

Pluses: - Excellent location very close to Cambrils's main beach - Very kind staff - Great rooftop terrace - Refrigerator in room - Quiet and clean Minuses: - A bit overpriced for a midweek stay - Rooms are VERY small - No kettle or coffee/tea in room - Not a lot of outlets Overall, it's a good place to stay if other, less expensive, hostals near the beach are unavailable."

"The hotel interior was very nice. The external appearance was not so great needs some attention. The pool was smaller than expected but always sunbeds available. The food was excellent, we were half board and always lots of choice. Some evening entertainment which were very good singers. Our room was a superior with solarium, room was adequate size, comformy beds, balcony very small but roof terrace was excellent. No tea, coffee, water or kettle which for a superior was disappointing. The staff were polite and friendly and the barman was lovely. The hotel is very spainish orintated and only one other english couple were there the same time as us, but it do not affect our stay at all The area is lovely with plenty of restuarants, shops and nice harbour."

"Stayed here two nights and picked Mas Gallau only because it looked slightly better than the typical tourist hotels in Salou. Reality: it has virtually no facilities — no gym, no sauna, nothing. The suite is basic to the point of feeling cheap: stone floor, plastic furniture, and a bathtub with cigarette stains. No walk-in shower — you literally have to climb into the tub.Breakfast is a disaster. No eggs, nothing fresh, just some bread, cereal (cold milk only if you ask), and a couple of basic cold cuts. The Nespresso machine only had decaf capsules left. - however, the lady from the reception was kind enough to bring some Cappuccino.  Yes, it’s €8.50, but for a $200/night hotel that is a pretty low offering.  It also sits right next to the AP7 highway, with one exit door basically opening onto it. Conclusion: overpriced, zero facilities, lousy breakfast — not worth the money."

"We stayed here for 3 nights in an August heat wave. Pluses: 1. Excellent location, off the main street from the pier and shopping/restaurants. 2. Kind & helpful staff 3. Very old-school Catalan style Minuses: 1. Wifi did not work properly. The router would just drop our connection- we gave up, and used the restaurant's wifi, but that too was a very weak signal. Data coverage didn't work well either. 2. No outlets anywhere near the bed. There was just 1 outlet for the entire room, for an extension cord leading to the TV and fan. 2. No fridge, kettle, or self-controlled A/C in room. 3. The hotel provided a fan for 30C temps, but the A/C was controlled by the hotel. During a very hot night, it simply turned off, and it was stifling. 4. No outdoor space for the rooms; there is a rooftop, but they don't seem to use it. There are barrel tables in front of the hotel, but they're in the direct sun, and don't feel like a hotel guest amenity. 5. Room cleaning is only available every 3 nights. This is normally fine, but in a beach town, sand goes EVERYWHERE. After 1 night, everything in our room was coated in sand. It would be helpful if the hotel offered guests a broom!!!! 6. There isn't an outdoor space or place to hang wet bathing suits, towels, coverups, etc. We had to hang things on the chairs, TV stand, doorways."
